Turk has sued Cash Money tour promoters, as per an AllHipHop article on September 26, 2025. The rapper filed the lawsuit in a Florida court in Broward County, Florida. The singer filed the lawsuit against Cash Money tour promoters Artists By Artists Agency LLC and Dope Shows Inc., and is demanding $340k, the amount the singer claims he is owed after having been dropped from the tour midway.
As per the lawsuit, which has been screenshot and posted page by page by Turk on his official Instagram page, he and Cash Money tour promoters entered into a contract for 10 shows as part of the Cash Money Millionaires' 30th anniversary tour. The fee for that event was supposed to be $400k, with $120k from it as a deposit.
The lawsuit then goes on to say that Andrew Ellington of ABA (Artists by Artists) negotiated the contract and received a commission worth $40k. The lawsuit then goes on to describe the sequence of events that led to the removal of Turk from the tour, the proposed reduction in fees by Dope Shows, and how Dope Shows terminated the contract, allegedly over his social media dispute with BG.
The lawsuit filed by Turk argues on several counts: first, that the promoters breached the contract; second, that the promoters engaged in anticipated repudiation; and third, that the promoters breached the 'Implied Covenant of Good Faith and Fair Dealing.'
It also argues negligent misrepresentation and breach of fiduciary duty, as well as unjust enrichment against Artists By Artists. The final count is that of unauthorized use of the name, image, and likeness of Turk.
Turk posted the complete lawsuit screenshots on his official Instagram page on September 27, 2025, stating in his post:
"Look, I’m fighting a lawsuit right now. I can’t put everything out there, but I want y’all to understand the lesson behind it. When you sign paperwork, when you deal with business people, when you shake hands—make sure it’s solid. Don’t just trust words, trust what’s in writing. Protect yourself, because not everybody out here got your best interest at heart.”
Turk filed a lawsuit against Cash Money tour promoters in July 2025
The above-mentioned lawsuit is not the first time Turk has sued Cash Money. In July 2025, the first troubles surrounding the Cash Money Millionaires tour started. During that time, the singer revealed he had filed a 'cease' against Dope Shows and other parties:
"My legal team has officially filed a Cease & Desist against Andrew Ellington, Dope Shows, and all parties involved in the recent false narratives and drama surrounding Hot Boy Turk."
The singer continued:
"We will not tolerate slander, defamation, or any attempts to damage my brand, name, or business relationships. This is being handled the right way — through legal channels. I stand on truth, business, and legacy. Anything else is a distraction."
At that time, he also shared messages showing him refusing a lower compensation rate, supporting his version of events. He and his wife, Erica 'Emani' Virgil (also his manager), appeared together in a YouTube video. In the video's description, the singer stated:
"The same day, after I refused to take less money than what the agency and promoters of the Cash Money 30th Anniversary Tour owed me, Instead of saying they didn’t have enough money to pay me, I received a last-minute termination notice saying I was a “security risk.”
The singer has so far released five albums, with his last studio album having been released back in 2006. In 2017, he released the mixtape Young & Thuggin' 3, which remains his latest release.
