Why was Tyler Henry rushed back into surgery? Celebrity medium's husband shares update on health and recovery

Celebrity medium Tyler Henry just completed his second brain surgery of the year. His husband, Clint Godwin, shared the update in a now-deleted post on Instagram:

“As you might remember, my husband, Tyler Henry, underwent brain surgery in May 2025. However, over the past month, symptoms of swelling slowly returned. Tyler’s medical team decided another surgery to address the recurring cyst and swelling was the best option.”

This surgery marks Tyler’s third brain surgery in his lifetime. He first underwent the procedure when he was 18 years old after doctors first discovered a congenital brain cyst. Godwin assured fans that Tyler was recovering well.

He captioned the post:

“@tylerhenrymedium and I are so thankful for all the support shown to us over the last couple days. We feel so loved by so many. They say the third time is a charm!” he added a blue heart emoji.

On May 15, 2025, 29-year-old Tyler Henry took to his official Instagram to announce the successful completion of his brain surgery. The Hollywood Medium host revealed he would be on bed rest for a month to aid recovery:

“Brain surgery was a success! Great prognosis, incredible staff, and I feel so thankful to be surrounded by my family. I'll be on bedrest for a month and look forward to getting back to doing readings.”

Tyler Henry told his followers that he had to remove a colloid tumor near the center of his brain.

“For those of you who connect with me virtually, not much should change as far as private reading giveaways and group readings, right now I'm just on the mend. For those curious, I had a colloid tumor near the center of my brain and thankfully most of it has been removed! (The tumor, not my brain... that is.”

He continued:

“This isn't my first rodeo with this and I have so much to be thankful for - I'll see ya'll very soon with lots of thought-provoking subjects and of course, readings. Thank you all so much for your support.”
