Predator: Killer of Killers comes with three different stories that eventually connect at the end. With this new addition in the long-running film series, it is now shaping up to be a thrilling franchise with some warriors from different times in suspended animation being guests on Predators' home planet, Yautja Prime.
This latest film served as a prequel and a sequel to Prey (2022) at the same time. When it is telling the first two stories, The Shield and The Sword, it is happening in 841 and 1609, respectively. The 2022 film happens in 1719, making it the first film a prequel. However, that glimpse of our Comanche warrior also makes it a sequel.
Now, the question is, does Predator: Killer of Killers set up a sequel? Maybe Prey 2 or Predator: Killers of Killers 2? The short answer is yes, it certainly leaves us with room to develop a sequel.
How can the film set up Prey 2?

With Naru, the lead protagonist of Prey, portrayed by Amber Midthunder, appearing at the end of the film, it sets up a direct sequel to the 2022 film. There is a connection to the latest film in the franchise.
If you have seen the artistic end credits of the 2022 movie, there is an animation of three ships descending upon the tribe. Before this, Naru had brought the head of the Predator who terrorized her tribe, which also got her the title of War Chief.
Now, Predator: Killer of Killers has made it real clear that if you are killing one of them, they are bringing you with them on Yautja Prime. So the painting in Prey and that scene where Naru is in suspended animation at the end of the latest installment in the franchise fit perfectly well.
For the future, Naru could be sneaking her way out and finding company in Torres and Kenji, two of the three warriors brought to Yautja Prime in the new movie. On that note, the third warrior, Ursa, is also put in suspended animation, so they are likely rescuing her too.
If there's a future story for creators to tell, then it is likely that we are getting live-action versions of Ursa, Kenji, and Torres, given that Prey was a live-action film only.
How can this set up a direct sequel to Predator: Killer of Killers?

A potential sequel to the latest Dan Trachtenberg movie holds the potential to become a direct sequel to both Killer of Killers and Prey. Now we have already discussed how it does that to the latter. We should also consider how it can be done for the 2025 movie.
You see, Torres and Kenji are on the run from an entire fleet of Predators, where the former has taken one of those giant Predator ships. The latter might need some time to heal, given that he lost his arm while Ursa helped him escape.
Now, note that the potential narrative we discussed about a potential Prey sequel can work for a potential Predator: Killer of Killers sequel. It's just, it won't be live-action.
