At first, Flair denied the reports about his condition on social media. He explained that he wanted to deal with the news privately before speaking publicly. He didn’t want to cause panic or worry among fans until he was ready to give full information.

Later, as more questions and rumors spread online, Flair decided to come forward. He said the support from fans helped him feel strong enough to speak openly. According to Bleacher Report, Flair said:

"I wanted to deal with it in my own way before talking about it. But I really appreciate the support I’ve received."

Flair has not given full details about his treatment plan but made it clear that he is ready to face this new challenge. He said he will share more when he feels it is the right time.

This is not the first time Ric Flair has dealt with major health issues. In 2017, he underwent surgery to remove part of his bowel. The surgery caused serious complications. He went into a medically induced coma, had kidney failure, and doctors gave him only a 20% chance of survival.

He has also had a heart attack and now uses a pacemaker. Even after these serious health events, Flair returned to the wrestling world. In 2022, he had a retirement match and continued to make appearances with AEW (All Elite Wrestling).

These health problems have shown Flair’s strong will to recover and return to what he loves. He has been open about his past medical issues and says he plans to keep fighting.
