Young Thug recently gave an interview to Adin Ross on his podcast, as reported by On Thin Ice. During the interview, the singer teased a 2026 tour, and stated he would be bringing along Quavo as a guest after Ross asked if he could have a sneak peek at the list of people Thug intends to bring along on the tour. Thug mentions Quavo only after several seconds of hesitation,

"I'm going on tour in the beginning of next year. I'mma take few people.. Quavo. That's one person that's going on it. There's a lot more top tier sh*t.. That's one person who's going with me."

The singer refused to share any further details in the interview and has not released any further details since the interview either. Young Thug's last tour was before 2022, when he was arrested under RICO charges as part of a larger case against YSL.

Young Thug then went on to answer the question of whether or not the restrictions under his probation terms restricted or changed the way he made the new album:

"Nah. I normally rap about cool things, you know? I just got like a few lyrics where I rap about street stuff. And those are the lyrics that they try to use against me. But yeah, most of the time, I don't rap about that type of stuff, you know?"

UY Scuti is named after the red supergiant star UY Scuti (BD-12°5055), which is located 5,900 light-years away (each light year is 5.88 trillion miles). The album features production from ATL Jacob, London On Da Track, Metro Boomin, Money Musik, Southside, TM88, and Wheezy, among many others. The album has a total runtime of 74 minutes and 22 seconds for the standard edition of the album.
