On General Hospital, Danny Morgan is the good-hearted and occasionally mischievous teenage son of legacy characters Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco).
Since 2023, Danny has been played by Asher Antonyzyn, who recently celebrated his second anniversary on General Hospital.

In an Instagram post, Antonyzyn said, “The past couple of years have been unbelievable. I’m still amazed that I get to work and learn from all these amazing actors, crew, and directors. I’m so thankful for this opportunity given to me by (Executive Producer Frank Valentini), (Casting Director Mark Teschner), and General Hospital. Here’s to many more!”
He posted pictures of himself outside the iconic outdoor entrance to the GH studio, one inside the studio, and another with Danny dressed as a magician.
Cameron Mathison, whose character Drew Cain counts Danny among his many enemies, said, “I know Drew hates you, but I love ya man.” Antonyzyn replied, “Back at ya, Cam” with a laughing emoji.
Numerous General Hospital co-stars “Liked” the post, including Tabyana Ali (Trina Robinson), Laura Wright (Carly Spencer), Jacqueline Grace Lopez (Blaze), and Rory Gibson (Michael Corinthos).
Danny has shown his adventurous side on many occasions over the last two years, showing a side he inherited from both of his parents. He left Rocco (Finn Carr) alone at a beach party, leading Rocco to imbibe a lot and suffer alcohol poisoning. Most recently, he brought his half-sister Scout (Cosette Abinante) home from camp because she missed the Quartermaines. That put him in the crosshairs of Drew, who wanted him to be arrested for kidnapping. Recently, they had a standoff in Drew’s hospital room about the restraining order Drew has put on Scout’s family, keeping her from seeing them.
Not only has Danny been a protective big brother, but he also gave an emotional speech at his mother’s funeral last year.
Dozens of fans commented on the post and complimented Antonyzyn on his work on the show.

General Hospital is the first acting job for Antonyzyn, who turned 16 in August. He started acting classes at age 12. earned the part of Danny six months after signing with an agent and manager. He was born and raised in Chicago and is a big Chicago Cubs fan. He goes to high school in Chicago and plays baseball for a club team. He has been posting Instagram Stories about the Cubs lately as they advance in the Major League Baseball playoffs.
