Does anyone really believe that General Hospital's Monica Quartermaine left her house — the one Alan gave her — to a sister whom she has seen once in 50 years? No, we didn't think so. This has to be Marty's doing, right?

Another Quartermaine will-reading gone wrong

Aside from the fact that it would have been out of character for Monica (the late Leslie Charleson) to leave her house to someone she barely knew, it seems de rigueur at this point to have phony surprises turn up in Quartermaine wills. Alan's will was a forgery, as was Edward's, at least when they were originally read, so why not have Monica's be a forgery too?

While we believe that Monica did leave Tracy (Jane Elliot) that jar of Pickle Lila relish and did leave Michael (Rory Gibson) her horses and yacht, we think that the codicil Monica allegedly had drawn up recently was a fake.

Did General Hospital's Marty give away the game?

There are few people who want to see Tracy Quartermaine suffer more than Drew (Cameron Mathison) and Marty (Michael E. Knight), but it was Marty who somehow knew that Drew was not in the will. He even knew that whatever was in that will would tear Tracy and the Quartermaines apart, so he advised Drew to sit tight and allow nature to take its course, so to speak.

Marty was also the only person who knew that Monica had been corresponding with an estranged sister since he found that letter in Drew's house. He even called someone to tell them to come to Port Charles immediately as soon as he learned that Monica had died.

While we do believe that Ronnie (Erika Slezak) is indeed Monica's sister, we are still on the fence, trying to figure out if she is in on this with Marty or if she has no idea what the lawyer is really up to. But how did Marty manage to fake Monica's will when he wasn't her lawyer?

We do know that Miller and Davis did not draw up the codicil, but an unknown lawyer did. Could this lawyer be a friend of Marty's? After all, Marty is also a lawyer and sometimes they tend to help each other out, especially for the right price. However, it happened, we still have a feeling that the house will go to Tracy in the end, the beloved sister of Monica's heart.
