General Hospital Paternity Pickle: Is this how Portia's secret is revealed?

General Hospital's Portia Robinson has quite a dilemma on her hands. Does she tell Isaiah he may be the father of her child or does she tell Curtis he may not be the lucky dad? We think this problem might be solved in court, thanks to not-very-good-friend Nina Reeves.

Nina's big mouth throws Portia under the bus

Poor Portia (Brook Kerr) is getting it from both ends as nobody seems to mind their own business. Portia already knows that Jordan (Tanisha Harper) opened her big mouth and told Curtis (Donnell Turner) that Portia was pregnant. What she doesn't know is that Nina (Cynthia Watros) opened her big mouth as well and told Sonny (Maurice Benard) all about Drew's (Cameron Mathison) blackmail scheme, as well as the fact that Portia was also behind the ketamine incident.

This gives Portia a motive to shoot Drew, so Sonny wants Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) to use this information to take suspicion off both Michael and Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) during Willow's trial. Drew doesn't like the idea because he is determined to pin this crime on Michael (Rory Gibson), whether he did it or not. That doesn't mean that Alexis will necessarily listen to what Drew has to say.

Believing that Willow deserves the best defense possible, she may defy the smarmy congressman when the trial begins and call Portia to the stand. That means Portia will have to tell the truth.

While Portia might have a motive to kill Drew, we know she didn't pull that trigger because she has an alibi. The audience saw her in bed with Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson) when the shooting took place. That means she couldn't have done it.

If Alexis gets her on the witness stand at Willow's trial, Portia won't want to perjure herself. She also doesn't want anyone to suspect she could shoot someone, even Drew Cain. She will have no option but to tell the jury that she was alone with Isaiah Gannon while someone was shooting Drew in the back — twice.

While she doesn't necessarily have to reveal exactly what she was doing with Isaiah, saying she was at his apartment alone late at night will likely be enough for Curtis to realize that there may be another daddy contender. This would also be the second time this year that a woman's pregnancy secret has been revealed on the witness stands during a court case involving Willow, all because of Nina.
