What happened on General Hospital

Portia arrived at the PCPD looking for Curtis. Portia was told she could wait for him, but when she looked in the interrogation room window, she was surprised to see Jordan with Curtis. She quickly texted Ava and told her that she needed to vent.

In the interrogation room, Curtis flashed back to Selina telling him she wasn't sure killing a U.S. congressman was a good idea. Curtis snapped out of it when he heard Jordan tell Nathan that Curtis had no access to the murder weapon. Nathan pointed out that the Qs had no idea when Edward's gun may have been taken.

Curtis remained silent and recalled telling Selina to get the job done and make sure it could never be traced back to him. Nathan finally explained that they were looking into other suspects to help the state's case against Willow. That didn't get Curtis to talk, as he remembered more of his meeting with Selina.

Selina said she only agreed to the job because she had a soft spot for Curtis. She promised him it would be done within the next two hours. "I know the perfect person for the job," she said as she downed a shot and gave Curtis a wink.

Curtis finally spoke when Nathan questioned what he was doing at the Brown Dog while he waited for Jordan. "I had business to attend," he said. Nathan asked him what kind of business. Curtis refused to answer, accusing Nathan of being on a fishing expedition.

Nathan continued to question Curtis and asked if anyone had seen him at The Savoy. Curtis said no. "Not even your wife?" Nathan asked. Curtis refused to answer any more questions and told Nathan they were done.

Jordan and Curtis went back to The Savoy, where Curtis felt he owed it to Jordan to tell her what really happened. "I had to lie to the police tonight, but I don't want to lie to you," he said.

Emma and Gio sat down at a table at the Brown Dog, discussing their plans to break into Dalton's other lab. "The last break-in was a disaster. It got Rocco sent to juvy, and if we get caught, it will be even worse. Are you sure that's a risk you want to take?" Emma asked Gio.

Gio admitted that he was worried that Dalton might have left the card with the address under Emma's door to set her up. Emma didn't care. "I know it's a risk, but I'm not going to let those animals suffer one more night," she said. Gio agreed and told her that he was all in.

Ava met with Nina at another Brown Dog table and saw the look on Nina's face. She then guessed that Willow really married Drew. "My daughter is now Mrs. Drew Cain. This day couldn't get any worse," Nina said. Ava had to disagree because she had some news for Nina.

After spotting Potia's text on her phone, Ava told Nina that she ratted her out to Portia. Nina defended herself and told Ava that she was just trying to save Willow. "Ok, tell Portia that. She's on her way here right now," Ava said, before taking a sip of her martini. "We are not in grade school. We have to take responsibility for our actions. So, we're gonna woman up here and straighten this out."

When Portia arrived, Ava tried to play mediator, but Portia was too worked up. "Ava, this feels like an ambush," she said. Nina excused herself and went to the restroom. Portia was angry at Ava for setting things up and wanted to go, but Ava stopped her. "I am not defending Nina. I just don't think the two of you should be enemies," Ava said.

Portia then confronted Nina in the ladies' room. Nina apologized and told Portia she had no idea she was coming. "If you had known, you still would have run away like the coward you are," Portia accused. Nina tried to make excuses for herself and insisted she never went to the police or spoke to Alexis directly.

Portia didn't care and pointed out that she and Nina had been friends. "I wasn't a suspect, Nina. I wasn't even on the PCPD's radar. You betrayed me," Portia shouted. Nina kept repeating that she was trying to save Willow. Nina then told Portia that she had no idea where she went after leaving the Brown Dog the night Drew was shot.

"I am just trying to take the spotlight off my daughter. Just like you, I would do anything to protect my child," Nina insisted. That's when Portia got real. Yes, she would do anything to protect her child, as well as the one she was carrying. A shocked Nina claimed she had no idea, which was clearly true. If she knew Portia was pregnant...

Portia stopped Nina from talking. "You never would have sacrificed me to save your trainwreck of a daughter if you knew I was pregnant? Oh, please. You'd have me give birth in prison before having Willow face any consequences," Portia spat. "Nina, newsflash. Willow is not some innocent victim. She married Drew today. She's riding shotgun and I am not going to let either one of you run all over me."

Nina tried to leave the restroom, but Portia grabbed her and they barrelled toward a stall. The next thing we knew, each woman stormed out of the bathroom and then out of the bar.

Dante and Lulu entered her living room, looking a mess and talking about the flag football game they had just played. When Rocco appeared, Dante suddenly told him he needed to stay away from Gio, much to Rocco and Lulu's surprise. "Gio's my brother. I'm not going to stop seeing him," Rocco asserted.

Dante told Rocco that he was a minor and had no choice but to listen to him. Rocco once again reiterated that Gio had nothing to do with his being arrested. Dante and Rocco went back and forth arguing for a bit until Lulu stepped in and tried to put a stop to it. Rocco then put her on the spot and asked her if she was okay with this.

Lulu tried to be more diplomatic and told Rocco she wanted to nip Rocco's disturbing behavior in the bud. "Unfortunately, Gio's the common denominator," Lulu said. Rocco argued that he made his own poor decisions. He accused Dante of doing the same thing that Drew was doing to Scout as he kept her from Danny.

An angry Rocco was on a tear. "How do you dictate who gets to be my family when you walked out on Mom and me twice?" he shouted before walking out. Dante tried to go after Rocco, but Lulu stopped him.

Dante asked Lulu if she felt he had abandoned them. Lulu admitted she hadn't thought about it in a long time, "but in a way it felt like you abandoned us." She stressed that she never told Rocco how she was feeling. Dante finally realized how Rocco felt. "I'm the dad who left him and now I'm the dad who is keeping him from his brother," Dante said.

Ric dropped by Sonny's place with a bottle of booze for some brotherly bonding time. The two men made small talk about Willow's wedding, with Sonny noting Scout would need a lot of support. Ric suddenly mentioned how Molly and Kristina were two siblings who were estranged and now closer than ever.

"Some things are harder to repair," Sonny said. "Understood," Ric replied. He also thanked Sonny for giving him a chance to defend Rocco. The men were still shocked that they were getting along. "The two of us talking about our families? It's like we're related," Ric quipped.

Sonny admitted he was impressed with Ric and Alexis' strategy for Rocco's defense. Right on cue, Rocco showed up. "I walked out on Mom and Dad, and I'm not going back. Can I stay with you?" Rocco asked his grandfather.

Sonny called Dante and Lulu and told them Rocco was safe before Rocco told his side of the story. Sonny informed Rocco it was okay to fight with his father, "but you can't walk out." Sonny allowed Rocco to spend the night, but he had to go home the next day.

Later, Rocco asked Ric and Sonny how they'd feel if they were told they'd have to stop seeing one another. The brothers found that to be amusing for obvious reasons. Before they could say much more, Emma and Gio walked in with quite a few rescued dogs.

Back at Lulu's house, the parents were glad to know their teenage son was okay. Dante wasn't surprised that Rocco would try to seek out Gio. Lulu thought he was just looking for a grandparent and that they needed to show Rocco more patience and understanding. "Rocco isn't going to give up on Gio just because you tell him to," Lulu said.

Laura repeated her big news to Kevin. Dalton was dead, and she knew this thanks to finding his body in the trunk of her car. However, she wasn't sure where his body was now. "I don't think anyone will ever find Professor Dalton," Laura said. She sat Kevin down and explained the whole situation in detail.

Kevin was not happy to hear that Sonny was now involved in this mess. "You realize it's too late to come forward now," Kevin pointed out. "I know. That's what Sonny said, too. But he assured me that he took care of the body," Laura responded.

A guilty Kevin told Laura he owed her an apology. "You had to go to Sonny cause I was out of town. I couldn't be here to help you. I'm sorry," he said. Laura assured Kevin that this was not his fault. "I called Sonny cause I didn't know what to do, but I knew that Sonny did," she said. Kevin warned Laura that this was far from over.

"Someone went to the trouble of putting a dead body in your trunk. That's not just someone trying to set you up. That's a message, and we have no reason to think that they're done," Kevin said.

After Kevin left to tend to a patient at General Hospital, Laura heard another knock on the door. She looked through the peephole and braced herself before opening the door. "I thought you'd be stopping by soon," she said.
