What happened on General Hospital

Kristina dropped by Alexis' office for a chat. Alexis couldn't wait to tell her daughter that Liz didn't plan to sue the car manufacturer regarding the crash. "As far as I can tell, she doesn't suspect that you're involved," Alexis said. "Well, yeah, she doesn't suspect. She knows. Lucky told her everything," Kristina said, much to Alexis' shock.
Kristina assured her mother that Lucky didn't tell Liz about the blackmail. "It was a very sobering conversation. Elizabeth has every right to turn me in, and she's not going to," Kristina assured a relieved Alexis. Kristina explained that Liz didn't want to hurt Alexis and Molly. Alexis then told Kristina she needed to halt her plan to break up Ric and Ava.
Alexis wanted to tell Liz that Ric was blackmailing her, but Kristina thought that was a bad idea. She thought that Liz would confront Ric, kick him out of her life, and Ric would get revenge by sending her to prison. "Mom, we're in this too deep. We can't say anything," Kristina insisted.
Once Kristina was alone, Cody dropped in to offer an Ava update. "You can't expect instant results. Ava's smart. If I come on too strong, she'll get suspicious," Cody told Kristina. She then asked Cody to make sure that Ava knew Lucky had left the country. Kristina guessed that Ric hadn't given Ava this information.
Kristina explained that Ric had a thing for Elizabeth, which left Cody confused. "Then, isn't my job already done?" he asked. Kristina didn't think so because she felt Liz wasn't interested in Ric, so he'd continue to settle for Ava.
At GH, Ric was happy to run into Elizabeth, but she told him she was too busy to talk. Ric told her he was there to see a client, not her.
In an exam room, Lucas checked out Marty's back. "I swear, this is all Tracy Quartermaine's fault," Marty griped.
Liz later noticed that Marty was being admitted and wondered if Laura knew. She said she would tell her before Lucas noted that he saw Ric wandering the hospital halls. "Yeah, he's here to see a potential client, but I automatically assumed he was here to see me. How's that for an ego?" Liz asked sheepishly.
Lucas mentioned how Ric had dropped by to see her every day since Lucky had left Port Charles. "Lucas, you have to be honest with me. Now that Lucky's out of the picture, do you think I'm leading Ric on?" Elizabeth asked. Lucas didn't think so, before reminding Liz that Ric was seeing Ava.
Elizabeth sheepishly admitted there might be things about Ric that she liked. "But I haven't forgotten about all the terrible things," she said.
In Marty's hospital room, Ric listened to Marty tell him he was ready to sue Tracy for all she was worth. "Emotional and physical distress, pain and suffering. Damages go up with every single spasm," Marty muttered.
"Martin, you lunged at the paper, lost your balance, and fell. Tracy never touched you," Ric pointed out. Marty thought that Ric could annoy Tracy into settling by opening a nuisance suit, but Ric didn't think it would work. "Tracy's far too vengeful to settle," he said. Since Marty couldn't pay his retainer, Ric left the room.
He found Elizabeth in the hallway and asked he to join him for some dragonberry juice. "I thought you'd have plans with Ava," Liz said. "Not tonight," Ric responded.
When Liz was back at the nurses' station, Alexis approached her so they could talk in private. Liz took Alexis to an office where Alexis told her she knew Liz was aware of Kristina's brake-cutting incident. She thanked Elizabeth for not going to the police. "Here I am covering up my daughter's crime. I couldn't let her go to prison even though that's what she deserves," Liz said.
Elizabeth explained that she knew Kristina had been struggling since her plunge into the pool last summer. "I just think that Kristina made a terrible mistake and gave in to her impulse, and I know she regrets it," Liz reasoned.
In the hallway, Alexis was ready to get onto the elevator, but called Elizabeth back as Ric watched from a corner.
At the gallery, Ava handed Laura an invitation to her next big exhibit. "If I can't make it, would it be okay if I pass these tickets along to Elizabeth?" Laura asked. Ava hesitated for a split second before telling Laura that Liz was always welcome.
Laura noted Ava's dragonberry juice. Ava told her that Ric had gotten her hooked on it. "I think that Ric is getting permission because he and Elizabeth were drinking it the day that I stopped by her house," Laura mentioned, much to Ava's disgust. Laura even casually mentioned that Ric was at Liz's place the day that Willow and Michael's custody hearing began.
Just then, Elizabeth called to tell Laura that Marty was in the hospital. She rushed to GH and demanded that her brother tell her what he had done to himself before rushing off to get him an overnight bag. Later, Deanna informed Marty that he no longer had health insurance.
Back at the gallery, Ava did some investigating and realized that Ric had been lying to her about working on various cases when he was really with Elizabeth. She was later pleased to see Cody drop in to ask her about art. When Ava told him she needed someone to help set up her exhibit, Cody offered to do the job for her.
Somehow, Cody managed to do what Kristina asked. He told Ava about his bar brawl habits and mentioned he punched Lucky, but that wouldn't happen again because Lucky left the country.
Natalia arrived at Sonny's house, but she wasn't sure she was ready to give up her whole life and move to Belize. Sonny wanted Natalia to stop stalling and just take him up on his offer. Natalia handed him a key to a safe deposit box that had all the incriminating evidence against him. "My life is in your hands," she said.
Sonny tried to make Belize sound appealing as Natalia wept over not being able to contact her children again. "Belize is beautiful. You'll be safe. I've put you in a beautiful luxury home right on the beach," Sonny said before assuring Natalia they could remain in contact. "I owe you a debt, and I take that very seriously," he added.
Natalia finally agreed to leave on Friday after sharing a tender goodbye with Sonny. She then stopped by Miller & Davis to talk to Marco.
Back at Sonny's place, Laura stopped by and was thrilled when he told her that he wasn't going to sell his piers to Sidwell. Sonny also had a warning: "I'm not going to start anything, but I gotta tell ya, violence is coming to Port Charles and we have to find a way to stop it."
In the Q living room, Brook Lynn sat with Marco, looking at a file labeled "Rocco Falconeri." Marco handed her an original birth certificate with the name Benjamin Westbourne. "It was altered seven months later to Rocco Falconeri," Marco said, while handing her a second certificate.
When Fante walked in the room, Brook Lynn quickly put the file and birth certificates away. Marco left Brook Lynn and Dante alone to talk. Brook Lynn immediately began defending her husband. "I am still angry, but talking to Chase made me realize that's not getting me anywhere," Dante said. "I don't know what's next, but what I do in order to reach Gio, you and I are gonna have to work together."
Dante admitted he wasn't ready to forgive Brook Lynn and Chase, but he didn't want his anger to prevent him from having a relationship with Gio. He reminded Brook Lynn that she used to have a good relationship with Gio, but Dante knew he had come down on Gio hard after Rocco's drinking incident.
"I did lose my temper, and I regret that, and I know all it's done is make it harder for Gio to trust me," Dante sighed.
Brook Lynn still felt that they needed to give Gio space and let him set the pace. "Eventually, he will be willing to hear us out," Brook Lynn said, but eventually, that wasn't good enough for Dante. "What happens if he never comes to us?" Dante asked.
He felt there was a fine line. "We can't give him so much space that he starts to question whether or not we care about him, right? We gotta something to show him what he means to us. He's our kid," Dante said.
"Our kid, who is 22 years old. We can't force a relationship on him as much as I would love to," Brook Lynn argued. "Between me and your mom and my grandmother, we will get him." Dante agreed that it was "a really tough group to ignore forever."
In the Q solarium, Tracy guffawed as she watched the video footage from the press conference. Tracy put her phone down when Cody walked in. "I really wanted to thank you for today. You were just flawless," Tracy said, while trying to make a .gif of Drew's face the moment he realized he'd lost.
Tracy was ready to pay Cody for his services, but Cody claimed he didn't even want money. "Drew is such an ass, I was happy to knock him down a peg or two. Besides, he framed you, so I was glad to help. Tracy, you're a great boss, and this is the best job I've ever had," Cody said.
At the Metro Court pool, lifeguard Gio trained his new pool attendants, Rocco and Danny. He assigned Rocco to be on towel duty, while Danny was to make sure everyone had fresh ice water. Danny poured Lulu some water as she watched her son at work for the first time. As soon as Rocco saw her, he was embarrassed.
Lulu quickly smoothed his shirt and made sure that Rocco remembered his Social Security number. Danny told Gio that Rocco must be embarrassed. "If my mom were here..." he started, before becoming quiet. "She'd be doing the same thing," he added sadly. "So would mine," Gio replied.
Lulu pulled Gio aside and asked him how Rocco and Danny were doing. He said they would get the hang of things eventually, so Lulu also asked Gio how he was doing. He said he was fine, so Lulu was satisfied. She then greeted Tracy, whom she invited to keep her company.
Tracy spotted Gio giving the boys orders and was glad they were all getting along. "Gio's still mad at Brook Lynn," she noted. "I hope he gets over it soon." After Rocco and Danny's shift, they wanted a dip in the pool, but Gio told them no. Tracy offered to give them a ride home to swim in the Q pool. Gio was surprised that Tracy didn't even talk to him before she left.
When Lulu prepared to leave the pool area, she ran into Dante. Lulu watched as Dante approached Gio and asked him if he had a minute to talk.
