If Ric (Rick Hearst) and Ava (Maura West) break up, then it will be much harder for them to carry out their blackmail plan together, which will certainly help two-year-old Ace financially. It will also get Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) off the hook, so Kristina (Kate Mansi) hired Cody (Josh Kelly) to get the job done. Cody is ready with more marching orders on Wednesday, as he seems to be making all his extra cash doing underhanded things for wealthy Port Charles women.

However, Kristina might not even need Cody since Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) has always been Ric's weakness for more than two decades. He is drawn to her despite being with Ava. Lucas (Van Hansis) wonders if she is leading Ric on while Ava knows he has been lying to her about something. Is she about to learn how often he visits Elizabeth behind her back?

Marty's revenge

Meanwhile, Ric is busy talking to his new client. Marty (Michael E. Knight) is laid up in a hospital bed with an injured back and blames Tracy (Jane Elliot) for everything. He is determined to get revenge on her if it's the last thing he does.

To that end, he hires Ric to get the job done. Is Marty about to sue Tracy for everything she is worth? Can he really prove she was responsible for his fall?

As for Tracy, she is ready to pay Cody for what he did for her. Maybe Cody will be able to buy Serenity after all.

Brook Lynn and Dante team up

Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) realize it's finally time to stop giving Gio (Giovanni Mazza) all this extra space and deal with their 22-year-old son's hurt feelings. While Dante is still angry at Brook Lynn, he knows he has to put his own hurt feelings aside for now for Gio's sake.

Dante suggests that he and Brook Lynn reach out to Gio with a united front so he can see that they are serious about having a real relationship with him. Is Gio ready to finally listen to his parents?
