What happened on General Hospital

Carly arrived at Jack's Metro Court room with a bottle of wine she'd seen him order before. "You remembered," he said, flattered. "Of course, I did. I remember everything about you," Carly said.
Jack and Carly shared the wine, as Jack told Carly he felt a distance between them. Carly admitted that when she is hurt, she pulls back. And she was hurt when she learned that Jack kept the truth about Vaughn from her. Jack looked genuinely distraught and said he was trying to figure out how to fix things.
Carly then admitted she missed Jack, but felt bad about giving him mixed signals. "I think it comes down to acceptance...I'm here, aren't I?" she said. Carly continued to flirt with Jack before telling him she was ready to put the bad things from the past behind them. She then grabbed Jack and kissed him. Before they could get very far, Jack was called away for work, much to Carly's secret relief.
Laura and Sonny met up in her office while her team stayed back at the Metro Court waiting for the election results. Laura didn't feel very confident in her chances after she slapped Dalton at a polling location. "I'm afraid that my political career might be over right now," she said.
"I attacked Dalton. I threatened him. There's no way that is going to go over well with the voting public," Laura added. It turned out that Laura was wrong. Sonny told her that social media commenters were calling her "badass" and "relatable." Laura was thrilled to hear the news, but still worried she had ruined her campaign.
Sonny did his best to be reassuring, which made Laura feel better. "Losing this election wouldn't just be handing this city over to Ezra Boyle. It would be handing it over to Sidwell," she stressed.
As Laura and Sonny discussed Rocco's case, they concluded that Dalton framed their grandson. Soon, the election results started to come in and both of them waited with baited breath
Nathan was surprised when Danny and Charlotte arrived at the PCPD to turn themselves in. Nathan brought them into the interrogation room as they told them he was with Rocco during the lab break-in. He left them alone for a moment while they debated whether they should do this. "It's for our brother. We gotta do what we gotta do," Charlotte sighed.
Nathan returned and started to take their recorded statement. As they spoke, Nathan realized he needed to get their parents and told them he had to leave for a few minutes.
Jason stopped by Britt's room at his behest. Britt wanted Rocco to come forward, but Jason refused to have his son risk his freedom. "Of course you won't help me. Why would you? I'm not Carly," Britt said in frustration. Then she rethought her stance. "Actually, since it's Danny, you probably would have said no to her, too."
Jason agreed that he would have. Britt insisted that Dalton was lying, but Jason was sure that Rocco would beat the charges. He reminded Britt that Drew would punish Danny by keeping him from Scout and getting him thrown in jail. Britt finally understood why Jason wouldn't have Danny come forward.
Jason also told Britt about the time that Michael went to jail as a teen and was sexually assaulted. "Michael was scarred in ways that never healed and I cannot have the same happen to Danny," Jason insisted.
Britt then asked that Jason talk to Dante and Lulu about Charlotte. Before he could answer, Nathan called to tell Jason that Danny was at the station ready to confess.
In Dante's office, Lulu was surprised when her ex told her that Rocco wouldn't be in a juvenile detention center if it weren't for Gio. Dante explained what he learned from Gio. Dante was still upset that he tried to give Gio the benefit of the doubt after the alcohol poisoning incident, but then Gio went and did this. "If I had kept Gio at an arm's length, he wouldn't have gotten close enough to Rocco to potentially ruin his life," Dante lamented.
Despite Rocco also being her son, Lulu wasn't as hard on Gio as Dante was. Dante finally started to feel guilty. "Me knowing I'm his father. Makes me think my words may have cut deeper," Dante said. Lulu was sensible and realized that Rocco made his own choice and bore some blame.
"Charlotte and Rocco know better than this, or they should know better than this. And neither one of them gave any consideration to the fact that you were the police commissioner," Lulu pointed out. She was more disturbed by Rocco's pattern of lying. Nathan then walked in to tell them what Charlotte was trying to do.
Soon, all three parents were in the interrogation room with Nathan, who explained that their parents needed to be there because they were minors. That meant what they already said had to be thrown out. The kids insisted on confessing again, but their parents tried to talk them out of it.
Ric and Alexis continued to discuss the Drew shooting case in her office. Alexis wanted to know why Portia would shoot Drew, but he wanted to make sure that Danny would confess to help Rocco before he told her a thing. Alexis refused and didn't trust Ric's word.
Ric insisted he had changed. "I have had my come-to-Jesus moment. I reflected and I have evolved. A month in captivity will do that to a man," Ric insisted. Alexis still didn't buy it. Finally, Ric gave in and told Alexis all about Portia switching Heather's lab results.
Ric asked Alexis what she would do to protect her daughter from a man who got hold of information and may be blackmailing her. "I'd chain him up in my basement and put a ball gag in his mouth," Alexis quipped. Ric got Alexis to see that Portia might have shot Drew because he was blackmailing her.
Talk then turned to Rocco, Danny, and Charlotte. Before they had a chance to say much, Jason called and asked Alexis to come to the PCPD cause Danny wanted to confess.
Ric and Alexis tag-teamed it, with Ric going to Dante's office and Alexis going to the interrogation room. Dante and Lulu left to see Ric, and Alexis chastised Danny for talking to the police without a lawyer. Danny insisted he had to confess. "Rocco would do the same for me. I know that's what my mom would want me to do," Danny said. Jason told Danny it was his choice.
At Wyndemere, Marco gave grave news to his father. "It appears that Dalton has jeopardized our entire operation," Marco said. Thanks to Dalton planting evidence just to stick it to Rocco, the lab was now the focus of a police investigation. "Maybe it's time you requested assistance from the guy you're running this operation with," Marco suggested.
Sidwell insisted that his partner's identity was on a need-to-know basis. Sidwell thought their best bet was firing Dalton and putting Britt in charge of the lab. Marco reminded Sidwell that Dalton knew where all the bodies were buried.
As Marco and Sidwell continued to discuss the situation, Britt walked in and asked to speak to Sidwell alone. Marco left, giving Britt a chance to accuse Sidwell of helping Dalton set Rocco up. Sidwell claimed he had no idea what Dalton was up to, but Britt still had a warning. Get Dalton to drop the charges or she'd "torch the entire operation."
Dalton didn't realize how much trouble he was in. At the PCPD, Alexis explained to Danny and Charlotte how they would turn the tables on Dalton and get him arrested for falsifying evidence. Ric told Dante and Lulu the same.
