General Hospital's Brook Lynn, Dante, and Gio are all going through it, learning they have been lied to in some form by Lois for the last 22 years. When Brook Lynn confronted her mother over the fact that Gio was her son, the scenes were raw and emotional — and there is much more of that to come.
Brook Lynn's moment with Gio

Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and Gio (Giovanni Mazza) will finally come face to face for the first time since learning they were mother and son, but Gio is an angry young man who doesn't understand the circumstances surrounding his origin.
It will be up to Brook Lynn to try to explain it to him and get him to understand what she was going through when she discovered she was pregnant.
"I think Brook Lynn is relating to Gio, to the betrayal that he’s feeling, because she’s been completely betrayed by her mother and her grandmother holding this secret from her for 22 years," Amanda Setton told Soap Opera Digest. "Of course, he is still coming from this place of anger and the assumption that Brook Lynn didn’t want him, didn’t love him, forgot about him, and obviously, he holds it against her...So, there are some really beautiful scenes of her trying to express and explain the truth, and the place she was in as a 16-year-old girl who wasn’t ready [for motherhood]."
The General Hospital fallout will continue

Lois (Rena Sofer) is getting the brunt of the blame from most people affected by this reveal, but what she hears from her daughter, Brook Lynn, stings the most. Setton described those scenes as reaching the "top of the mountain" story-wise. The Gio reveal has been building since the day Giovanni Mazza debuted as Gio last May at Brook Lynn and Chase's wedding.
"Everything that’s going to happen after, which will also be juicy and great, will be the fallout," Setton previews. "But this is it, and I just wanted to deliver the magnitude of this moment for the character of Brook Lynn. I wanted to give the audience and the fans this climactic moment and also serve Brook Lynn, this character that I’m so fortunate and lucky and privileged to play. This is arguably the biggest moment of her life, and by far the most emotional, to meet her child."
Fans have been raving about the sheer raw emotion in the scenes and can't wait to see what's to come.
