General Hospital's Scarlett Spears adds new member to her dance club

Scarlett Spears, who plays precocious little girl Donna Corinthos on General Hospital, has a lot of fun behind the scenes in the General Hospital studio.

She is often seen chatting and dancing with her onscreen father, Maurice Benard, who plays Sonny Corinthos. Several times, they have posted videos on social media with them having a dance party together, and sometimes with other castmates from the show.

General Hospital's Donna has fun onscreen and off

On September 24th, Spears and Benard added a new member to their dance club: Nazneen Contractor, who plays Assistant District Attorney Justine Turner.

Justine, who has been on the show since last year, is either an ally or an archrival to Sonny depending on the day and the situation on General Hospital. She has alternated between hoping to put him in jail and being softball teammates with him. But on this day, they were teammates on the dance floor as Spears posted a video on her Instagram account, which is run by her mother, Sharline.

The trio got down to the tune of the Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars classic “Uptown Funk.” They were in an unidentified room in the studio, which had a large framed picture of Jane Elliot (Tracy Quartermaine) on one wall. It showed Elliot in her early days on the show, perhaps coincidental during the week of Monica Quartermaine’s (Leslie Charleson) memorial, with Tracy taking a lot of the spotlight.

In the video, Spears starts off with some classic dance moves, then the camera pans to Bernard, who is sitting on a chair. He stood up and joined her. After a little while, the camera revealed Contractor sitting in a chair. Spears beckoned her to stand up and join in the fun, and Contractor showed off some awesome skills, and also a different side of her. Justine is normally a stern and serious character, but on this day, her portrayer was smiling and having more fun than we usually see the ADA have on the show.

Dozens of fans enjoyed watching the General Hospital trio enjoy themselves.

Is nice to see how much fun they have behind the scenes with the kids on the soap.
