How General Hospital's Britt was once Rocco's mom

General Hospital's Brook Lynn is steaming mad at Lulu for sticking her nose in Brook Lynn's business and inadvertently revealing to Gio that Brook Lynn gave him up for adoption as a newborn. Heck, Brook Lynn didn't even know Gio was her son when Lulu decided to do some digging. Now, Brook Lynn wants revenge, and she is going to use the allegedly late Britt Westbourne to enact it.

A General Hospital surrogacy mess

Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) wants to prove that Lulu (Alexa Havins) is not as good a mother as Lulu claims to be. Lulu says she has always been honest with her kids, unlike Brook Lynn. (She seems to skip over the fact that Brook Lynn didn't even know who her son was until a few weeks ago.) Well, Brook Lynn is pretty sure that Lulu has been hiding a big fact from Rocco (Finn Carr).

Like Lulu's daughter, Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez), Rocco was born via surrogacy. Also, like Charlotte, Rocco's surrogacy story is quite complicated. Lulu didn't choose the person who gestated Charlotte or Rocco — both children were also born without Lulu knowing they were hers.

This is where things get uber complicated. When newlyweds Lulu (then played by Emme Rylan) and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) discovered that Lulu couldn't get pregnant and carry a child to term, they agreed to let Maxie (Kirsten Storms) become their surrogate. She quickly became pregnant with Dante and Lulu's baby, but miscarried. She also had sex with Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) that same night and instantly became pregnant again, but decided not to tell Dante and Lulu that the child she was now carrying wasn't theirs.

Meanwhile, Maxie's OB, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud), had become infatuated with Dr. Patrick Drake (Jason Thompson) and even had sex with him in the locker room showers. When she saw him falling for Sabrina Santiago (Teresa Castillo), she decided to entrap him with a pregnancy, except she wasn't pregnant with his child. She had stolen one of Dante and Lulu's frozen embryos and implanted it into herself.

After Maxie gave birth to a baby girl, Dante and Lulu thought they had a daughter whom they named Connie. However, they didn't know that Maxie had handed over her own daughter from her one-night stand with Spinelli, who is now the young teen known as Georgie. When the truth came out, they gave the little girl back.

Britt also gave birth to a boy around the same time and named him Ben. By then, she had confessed to Patrick that he was not the father, but she still claimed to be Ben's mother and grew attached to him while living at Wyndemere with Nikolas (Tyler Christopher). Eventually, Elizabeth (Rebecca Budig) learned the truth and revealed all during a Wyndemere party, resulting in Dante and Lulu finally having their own baby, whom they named Rocco.

Brook Lynn's dangerous path

Is Brook Lynn about to reveal this truth to Rocco just to get back at Lulu for her meddling? If so, she is about to hurt an innocent teenage boy in the process. Unlike what Lulu did to Gio (Giovanni Mazza), Brook Lynn will be hurting Rocco on purpose with her little revenge plot. Is it worth it, and will it alienate Gio even more in the process?
