Burke comes to General Hospital with a show business pedigree as she is the daughter of actor Billy Burke, who is known for his role in the Twilight movie series, as well as for his time on the primetime hit Fire Country. He has also had roles in Chicago PD and FBI. Burke's mother is actress Pollyanna Rose.

Bluesy Burke made her on-screen debut when she was just a baby in a film called Luster with her dad; in 2019, she appeared in the film Booksmart.

Scarlett Fernandez originated the role of Charlotte in 2016 when she was just seven years old. She has played Charlotte on and off ever since, but was last seen several months ago when Charlotte returned to Port Charles after more than a year on the run with her father, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart).

Amelie McLain also played Charlotte on a recurring basis between 2019 and 2021, before Fernandez returned to play out Charlotte stalking, and later accidentally shooting Anna Devane (Finola Hughes). Fernandez currently lives in Idaho, where she is an all-star high school volleyball player looking to join a college volleyball team.

When Charlotte first returned to town earlier this year, she seemed isolated from the rest of the show's teen scene, but it looks like all of that is about to change.

"Charlotte returns to the canvas and assumes a pivotal role," Head Writers Chris Van Etten and Elizabeth Korte told TV Insider. "She’s very useful to anyone who wants something from Valentin — and she knows it. She isn’t afraid to exploit her relationship with her father to get what she wants. She’ll draw closer to Danny and Rocco as we develop General Hospital’s next generation."

Burke made her GH debut as Lila's Kids camp counselor, Charlotte, who took Scout (Cosette Abinante) from camp to the Quartermaine mansion without anyone's permission. She explained she did it because she understood how Scout felt after learning something was wrong with her dad. Charlotte is always fearing for her father, Valentin, who is currently in an international prison and was also seen on the September 8th episode.
