Carlo Rota posted on Instagram with the cheeky caption, “And the GHemmy for ‘Talks and Laughs to himself in his dressing room the most’ goes to....” He included a video in which he told fans, “Big day on General Hospital today. Look.” He panned the camera to reveal quite a few script pages taped to the wall behind him. He continued, “Look at all that stuff I have to say. I'll never remember it. I know I'm…useless.”
The actor then admitted, “I'm also panicking. That's all right. I should be Okay.” Then the clip cut to another view where he continued: “Do you know that when I come to work, my wife packs me a lunch. I mean, she is the most. I mean, I don't know what I did to deserve her, but she's fantastic.” He showed his lunch bag, pulled out a note, and read it aloud, “Have a great day, love you, juicy Jenz. I'm not sure what that means, ‘Juicy Jenz...’ ” He then took a moment to laugh uncontrollably.
It encapsulated the General Hospital star’s famous demeanor: hilarious, humble, and effortlessly charming. Fans couldn’t get enough of watching him fumble over his lines and lovingly talk about his wife, actress Nazneen Contractor, who plays Justine Turner.
