On the heels of Chris McKenna being reunited with Erika Slezak on General Hospital, there's word that the former One Life to Live star is seeing another familiar face in Port Charles. Jessica Tuck, who played Slezak's daughter, Megan, on OLTL, is back at GH!

General Hospital is looking like Llanview

"And the magic keeps on happening!" enthused McKenna on Instagram as she showed a photo of his real-life mom, who recently visited the set, and Tuck, who once played wickedly evil Cassandra on GH.

"The incredible @thejessicatuck has joined us! This is her first day DIRECTING on @generalhospitalabc," McKenna said. "We’re so lucky to have her! #OLTL #GH."

In 2017, Tuck debuted as Cassandra Pierce, a calculating woman who ran a drug trafficking operation and had ties to Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart). Presumably, Cassandra was blown to smithereens when a boat she was on was detonated remotely by Valentin. Nobody was ever discovered, however.

Tuck isn't the only actress who has taken on a role behind the camera. Francesca James (ex-Kitty/ex-Kelly, All My Children), Ellen Wheeler (ex-Marley/ex-Vicky, Another World), Heather Tom (Katie, The Bold and the Beautiful), and, most recently, Elizabeth Hendrickson (Chloe, The Young and the Restless) have all sat in the control booth at their respective soaps and called the shots.

Viewers fell in love with Tuck's portrayal of Megan Gordon back in the late 1980s and into the early 1990s on OLTL. The show's writers revealed that Viki Buchanan (Slezak's legendary role), who suffered from multiple personalities or DID, had given birth to a child when she was living as Nikki Smith. Viki and Megan didn't have the best relationship, so it was quite a shock when they discovered they were mother and daughter.

The two reconciled, and Viki was in attendance as a proud mother when Megan performed at "The Daisy Awards," an awards show that honored Fraternity Row and other serials within the OLTL universe. Megan not only took home the statuette for Best Actress, but she also performed the opening number, "Here's to the Shows!"

Megan died in 1992 in one of the soap opera genre's most tragic deathbed scenes. Tuck was nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series later that year. Slezak won for playing Megan's grieving mother.
