General Hospital, The Daytime Emmy goes to

In the Outstanding Lead Performance in a Daytime Drama Series: Actress, GH stars Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis) and Laura Wright (Carly) have both been nominated. Their fellow nominees include The Young and the Restless actresses Sharon Case (Sharon), Eileen Davidson (Ashley), Melissa Claire Egan (Chelsea), and Michelle Stafford (Phyllis).
Stafford is a three-time Daytime Emmy-winner and took home the statuette last year. Case won the 1999 Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series. Davidson won Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series in 2014 for her role as Kristen on Days of our Lives. She won three years later for playing Y&R's Ashley.
The nominees may be gathering for lunch between now and the Daytime Emmys. The traditional get-together was started by Susan Flannery (ex-Stephanie, The Bold and the Beautiful) decades ago.
