General Hospital alum Emme Rylan is starring in new film

General Hospital alum Emme Rylan just completed doing some acting work on a new film.

Rylan, who formerly played Lulu Spencer on the soap, posted pictures of herself on the set of a new production. According to Soap Opera Digest, the film is titled Jacob Beats up Nate and is directed by J. Lee, a St. Louis native. According to SOD, the movie is being filmed in St. Louis, where Rylan lives, and is expected to be released next summer.

The film features some big names including Justin Long, Lamorne Morris and Rafe Williams. In her Instagram post, Rylan said she plays Long’s wife in the movie,.

“I had so much fun playing (Long’s) wife in (Lee’s) new movie!” Rylan wrote. “(Morris) and the entire cast were amazing!”

Robert Palmer Watkins, who plays Dillon Quartermaine on General Hospital, commented with a series of clapping emojis. The Bold and the Beautiful star Lawrence Saint-Victor (Carter) commented with thumbs-up and heart emojis.

One fan, the Instagram user smitty.didit, commented “So happy to see you still acting!!!! Miss you on GH! Best LuLu ever.” Another use, bethlanda, said “I can’t wait to see it!! You look beautiful!!!”

The user gilman9643 added, “Awesome. You have to let us know when/where we can see the movie! So happy that you got a great opportunity to do what you love and now I (pray) this opens the doors to many more.”

Justin Long is a well-known actor best known for movies such as Live Free and Die Hard, Dodgeball and Jeepers Creepers.

Lamorne Morris won an Emmy last year for Outstanding Supporter Actor in the series Fargo. He is also known for being a lead on the series New Girl for eight years as the character Winston. He has also appeared in the movie Game Night.

Rylan is also in a short called Chatter, which is billed as a comedy and romance.

She also guest-starred in a podcast series called Montecito, which is billed on IMDB as “Under the shadows of Montecito's towering palm trees a narcissistic opportunist invades the lives of longtime residents and entangles them in her web on her way to the top.

Several other soap stars have appeared on the series including General Hospital stars Rick Hearst (Ric Lansing), Marc Anthony Samuel (Felix DuBois) and Kelly Thiebaud (Britt Westbourne).

The former Lulu Spencer on General Hospital is also working with bestie and former co-star Kirsten Storms (Maxie Jones) on a crochet clothing collection.

Rylan had her birthday on November 4th. Her longtime partner Don Money, who she shares three children with, posted a tribute to her on his Instagram account.
