Palm Royale is billed as a dark comedy. It is set in the 1960s in Palm Beach, Florida. It stars former Saturday Night Live star Kristin Wiig as Maxine Simmons, who according to IMDB is an ambitious woman who schemes to secure her seat in the high society of Palm Beach.

The show has a lot of big names on its cast, including Ricky Martin, the iconic pop star who played Miguel Morez on General Hospital. It also features Leslie Bibb, Laura Dern, Allison Janney, and Carol Burnett among its legendary cast.

Stamos promoted the premiere of the new season on his Instagram Stories, and in a grid post, he shared pictures of himself at a premiere event with members of the cast. He captioned the post, “It’s been such a pleasure working alongside this talented group of people. And I’ll just say…you’re in for a wild ride.”

It’s unclear how big a role Stamos will have during the season or how many episodes he will be in. On Halloween, he was shown in tabloid photos filming a scene with Wiig, dressed fully in white with sunglasses, indicating he will be in a later episode if not sooner.

According to Deadline, in season 2 Wiig’s character in season 2 "is left a social pariah after a scandalous public breakdown. She’ll have to draw on her deep well of cleverness and cunning to prove, once and for all, that not only does she belong, but she might have what it takes to rule this town. Along the way, she will uncover untold truths and finally understand what this town is truly built on: secrets, lies, and the occasional felony.”

The former General Hospital actor recently performed in the ABC primetime musical special Step Into the Movies, and he has sung in a pair of musicals this year at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles.

A regular member of the current lineup of the iconic band The Beach Boys, he was set to perform with the group this weekend in Florida. He shared fan clips of those shows this weekend on his Instagram Stories.
