Robert Palmer Watkins has been busy since leaving General Hospital, where he played Dillon Quartermaine, Tracy’s (Jane Elliot) son. Now that everyone is reeling from the death of Monica Quartermaine, fans wonder if Watkins will reprise his role so that Dillon can pay his respects. As that drama unfolds, Watkins has a happier reason to celebrate in real life — he just shared news about his latest movie, and it’s already getting fans talking.
A sinister new film
On Instagram, General Hospital alum Robert Palmer Watkins, who has been busy with numerous projects, revealed his new collaboration with producer Gunnar Garrett. He wrote, “The Fostered featuring @robertpalmerwatkins @britt_underwood @savinaandserena @iamhusky4life is out! You can watch it on Amazon Prime, On Demand, Fandango, Apple TV, Google Play, and YouTube TV.”
In the video he attached, Watkins introduced himself and explained that he plays the role of Kevin. He described the premise as a married couple struggling with infertility who decide to foster children, only to discover that what seemed like a solution turns into something far more sinister than they ever anticipated.
Fans quickly filled the comments section with excitement and support for the former General Hospital star. @hello_itsjess_ wanted to know, “Where can you watch that?” while @fancydancer76 cheered him on, writing, “Hey great to hear you got this gig!!!” Some kept it short and fiery, like @majaalooca, who responded with multiple flame emojis, and @sophiaella664, who added, “Amazing.”
