General Hospital alums reunite…and solve absolutely nothing

Kin Shriner and Marcus Coloma may have been gone from General Hospital for a while, but fans haven’t stopped missing them. Though they’re no longer causing trouble in Port Charles, the two actors have found another way to entertain: through their playful Instagram videos. Their latest collaboration proved that they can still make audiences laugh, and the fans enjoyed the hilarity.

Comedy gold

General Hospital alum Marcus Coloma, who formerly played Nikolas Cassadine, and Kin Shriner, whose character Scotty Baldwin has been inexplicably MIA for over a year, shared a video post on Instagram. They captioned it, “Monday business meeting with Kin, not sure if we solved everything or traded nonsense.” Included in the post was a video the wacky duo made in which their conversation goes all over the map.

Coloma started by saying he was watching a British show that was pretty good, and Shriner admitted he had also seen a different UK show, and quipped, “Everything today, you know, is over the pond now.” Coloma then asked, “We need a British accent, don't we?” Quickly switching to a cockney accent, he asked, “How's your British accent, love?” They tried continuing their conversation in accents that kept changing until Shriner stated, “It sounds like you are Irish.”

The silliness continued as they contemplated becoming surfers who lived by the beach, considered playing pickleball, which “seems to be the rage today. Everybody’s playing this pickleball,” Coloma said. Shriner explained, “It's just paddle tennis in the sky.” Coloma asked if the game was a fad, which led Shriner to remark that he once thought computers were a fad until a guy at an electronics store told him, “I don't think so. I think they're gonna kind of take over.” (Check out Shriner’s foot update.)

Bring them back!

The fans loved the latest video from the General Hospital alums, with @robinbonaguro responding, “No, no, no, British accents. Just love you guys the way you are.” @fredarachel52 praised them with the reply, “You guys together are comedy gold.” @copson73 lovingly suggested, “Sweet men, I can never get enough of you both. Do a show together. Maybe a comedy sitcom.” But the underlying fan feeling was for the two to return to GH, with @lizly1119 commenting, “I miss seeing you guys on GH.”

Continuing the thought, @janetkop2019 wrote, “Miss you 2 crazy guys. General Hospital isn’t the same.” One fan felt a crossover was in order with the response, “Love this, can’t get enough of you. Nice hair by the way, it’s on point. Hopefully you guys can get more actors to feature on, like Joshua Morrow or Eric Braeden from Y&R. One or both of them, I think they [would] make for great guests.” And @sonnycgirl summarized most of the fans’ thoughts with the question, “Can the two of you come back to GH where you belong?” (Learn how Coloma was thankful after his health scare.)
