General Hospital's Laura Wright teases Carly's next 'tricky' plan to protect Josslyn

General Hospital's Carly Spencer is taking matters into her own hands. After learning that Josslyn is a WSB agent, Carly decides to take control of the situation, but since she is Carly, things might not go quite as she planned.

Despite warnings from multiple people she trusts, Carly (Laura Wright) refused to listen to them about Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna). She fell hard for the WSB station chief and insisted she knew what she was doing when she decided to get involved with him. It took a while, but Carly grew to understand that he would have to keep secrets from her for her own good.

However, she never expected these secrets to be about her young adult daughter. It was bad enough when she just believed that Josslyn (Eden McCoy) was unwittingly dating a WSB agent. It was another thing to discover that Josslyn is also now an international spy.

Carly did her best to get Josslyn and Jack to tell her the truth, but to no avail. However, after her conversation with Jack, Carly was stunned by the ease of his dishonesty.

"She goes to Jack and she flat-out asks, 'I need you to promise me that if you ever think Josslyn is in danger, you’ll tell me, and he’s like, 'Absolutely.' And she just stares at him, like, 'I cannot believe you just lied to my face,'" Laura Wright told Soap Opera Digest.

After her conversation with Jack, Carly was absolutely furious and immediately called Spinelli (Bradford Anderson). She asked him to get her a fake ID with a new identity and digital trail. After some begging on Carly's part, Spinelli agreed, so what is Carly going to do with this fake ID?

"Carly’s going to handle it her way. I mean, this is Carly we’re talking about! In her mind, it’s, 'I’m gonna do whatever I have to do. It’s very, very tricky. She’s like, 'I’m taking him down and I'm going to protect my daughter.' She’s not 100 percent sure of her plan, but she’s trying to figure it out!"

Is Carly the person visiting Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), who is seen in General Hospital's new weekly promo? The woman looks like she has dark hair like Anna (Finola Hughes), but it could very well be Carly in a wig. Stay tuned to find out.
