Everyone on General Hospital is still waiting for the other shoe to drop with Nathan. Is he really who he says he is, or is there something more diabolical going on…like Faison’s memories mapped onto his brain? While the show keeps teasing fans with the possibilities, Nathan’s portrayor Ryan Peavey has been doing the opposite. No secrets. No slow burn. Adventuring is cool. Both at the same time? Cool. Both with your friends? Perfecto.” In the clip, he said he and his friends were exploring one of their locations after work and announced they’re “spelunking” to check out a cave called Archer Dome. “That has got to be one of the coolest things I've ever seen,” he stated, adding, “It's a cave with a view.”Showing his friends and fans some long-spined sea urchins, he noted, “There's a little guy here, and then there's a big one here. Look at this. Spiky Boys.” The group continued checking out the caves and shallow waters, as Paevey commented that they “found out that in addition to really good acoustics and killer views, the cave also has a patio,” adding, “...And a pool. And you know I had to dive in.”“You swim in that,” he stated, adding there were “giant crabs, dinosaur fossil thingies, feather antenna, very chilly water, very nice day.” In his next job, he could perhaps host nature documentaries, as he has a love of the outdoors and the ocean. Gorgeous, thanks for sharing!” @wellness_pilgrim kept it simple: “What an adventure!”Some viewers noted that Paevey was wide-eyed throughout and loved seeing his awe at the wonders they discovered. Others cautioned him to have better footwear when doing such exploration. One fan summarized the collective thought with, “The cave is beautiful… Thank you!!”The overall vibe was obvious: fans enjoyed seeing him happy, out in the world, doing something other than looking haunted in Port Charles. And until GH decides what Nathan really is, at least Paevey’s giving people a different kind of suspense. Will he jump into the cave pool again? Yes. Obviously.
