Steve Burton, who plays the lethal enforcer Jason Morgan on General Hospital, recently tied the knot with his girlfriend, recipe creator Michelle Lundstrom. The actor, who had previously shared some pics of him and Lundstrom in New York City, has finally taken some time to openly discuss the fun they had on their honeymoon in Hawaii. He shared the details on his podcast and was highly entertaining in doing so.
She had never been there
On That’s Awesome!, the podcast that Burton co-hosts with his friend and General Hospital castmate, Bradford Anderson (Spinelli), the two got talking about the actor’s latest jaunt. Anderson noted that his buddy was deeply tanned, and Burton revealed that he and Lundstrom had honeymooned on the island of Maui, noting that she had never visited there before. “She's always wanted to go,” he said, adding, “It was amazing, man. Like, there is something special about Hawaii.” He then noted that, “There's something really cool and magical about being there.”
Burton continued, stating, “So yeah, man, the weather was great. We did everything. Got to unplug a little bit, which was amazing.” He explained that they had done many things there, including working out, walking, hiking, and even saw dolphins. He also explained, “We were snorkeling and they take you to two spots. The water there is so blue I can't even believe it, man.”
They had great fun and great food

He continued, noting, “We did some snorkeling, saw a sea turtle, some good fish—it was pretty cool. And then when we were leaving, another boat part of their snorkel crew boats was like, ‘Hey there's a bunch of spinner dolphins like a couple minutes that way.’ ” Thrilled at the memories, Burton revealed that they also saw several dolphins jumping out of the water that reminded him of flying fish, and remarked, “It was so cool.” They also visited a bamboo forest, which he described as “amazing.”
The General Hospital star also remarked that they, “Jumped off a freaking waterfall which was super cool,” adding that they, “almost died a few times. Like literally. And so, yeah, the food was great,” he hilariously added, glossing over the near-death experiences. Burton further explained that they had some great deserts as well, which included banana bread pudding, “And then you know this Dubai chocolate thing out there,” he explained, remarking that it had pistachio in it, and jokingly stated, “Yeah, there’s a shortage of pistachio because of this trend.”
Considering Lundstrom is a professional food connoisseur, Burton explained that she was all over it, and they even went to a luau and enjoyed a roasted pig. All in all, they had a great time and ate very well.
