What to expect on General Hospital

It's a bittersweet holiday for the Quartermaines this year, as it's their first one spent without Monica (the late Leslie Charleson) in the house. She was upstairs in bed during last year's Christmas shindig, which is where Drew (Cameron Mathison) and Willow's (Katelyn MacMullen) affair was revealed in glorious technicolor for all to see.
Michael (Rory Gibson) and Tracy (Jane Elliot) have a big secret between them for the holiday, as Tracy coyly asks Michael if he made the phone call they had discussed. Tracy also feels the weight of Monica's loss this year, missing the sister of her heart who left her a beautiful house.
The black sheep Q

Over at Drew's house, Willow tries to reason with her louse of a husband. He is still determined to keep Scout from her family on Christmas because he can, and he is petty and vengeful that way. If Willow didn't see Drew's true colors before, she certainly does now.
Will Drew relent and allow his daughter to see Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and her aunts for the holiday? If he wants to make Willow even a little bit happy, he will. We still don't understand why Willow thinks this man, who abuses and leverages children, would be the one to help her get her own kids back.
Christmas celebrations everywhere

Sidwell (Carlo Rota) is busy during his first Christmas in Port Charles. He is ready for a smashing celebration on Spoon Island, with Ava (Maura West) and Lucy (Lynn Herring) in attendance. Both women seem to be vying for Sidwell's affections, while having no real idea what they are getting themselves into.
Laura (Genie Francis) refuses to let Sidwell get her down this holiday season and tells Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) that they are going to put on a happy face and enjoy Christmas no matter what.
And finally, Ned (Wally Kurth) and Sonny (Maurice Benard) debate whether to give Gio (Giovanni Mazza) his gift yet. Donna (Scarlett Spears) requested violin Christmas carols, but Gio doesn't have his instrument anymore. Maybe it's time he held a violin again so we can have a performance as spectacular as the one at the Nurses' Ball.
