General Hospital Spoilers, December 5: Sidwell comes for Sonny, Jason rescues Britt

Here are your General Hospital spoilers for Friday, December 5, 2025.

What to expect on General Hospital

Sidwell (Carlo Rota) has the two most powerful people in Port Charles right where he wants them. His first stop on this busy Thanksgiving night was Laura's (Genie Francis) place to tell her that he is in charge now, and she is essentially a puppet mayor and will listen to him and Ezra Boyle (Daniel Cosgrove).

As Laura freaks out and tells Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) that she'd implicate Sonny (Maurice Benard) if she went to the police now, Sidwell sits in Sonny's living room and tells him he has enough evidence to put Sonny and Laura behind bars for a long, long time. Sonny is backed into a corner, but will he find a way to get the upper hand?

Britt's in trouble

Jason (Steve Burton) brings a drunk Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) back to her room above Bobbie's, where he tries to settle her in. Britt is combative as always, so Jason leaves, but that's where things appear to get dicey.

Britt is not just drunk, she is also not well, as her hands have been shaking too much after witnessing Sidwell shoot Dalton (Daniel Goddard) right in front of her. She is not sure if it is nerves or her Huntington's symptoms returning. Either way, she passes out on the floor, but Jason can hear the crash from her fall and comes running back into her room to rescue her.

Trouble for Carly and Joss

Sidwell seems to be on everyone's mind as Carly (Laura Wright) once again tells Lucas (Van Hansis) she fears for his life if he moves into Wyndemere. She knows how dangerous Sidwell can be, but she also wants to make amends with her brother. Lucas tells her she will have to accept that Marco (Adrian Anchondo) is now a part of his life.

As for Josslyn (Eden McCoy), she gets a little too nasty with Jack (Chris McKenna), especially now that she can't find Vaughn (Bryce Durfee). Jack does not take too kindly to her attitude and tells Joss she is crossing a line. Will he also tell her where he stashed her new boyfriend?
