General Hospital Spoilers, January 8: Insane Drew loses it in court as Kai and Trina get their answer

Here are your General Hospital spoilers for Thursday, January 8, 2026.

What to expect on General Hospital

Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) thought she had it made and that her case was in the bag, but she forgot that her clients are not smart people. Then, they showed up, and she was reminded that Drew (Cameron Mathison) is out of his mind and Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) is just his meek little yes girl (or is she?).

She goes into court knowing that Drew might very well blow the case. Lo and behold, he does just what she expects. He acts like a maniac on the stand, pointing fingers and alarming not just Alexis, but Willow as well. It's Alexis' worst court nightmare come true, but she knew this going in.

To save face, Alexis makes a risky legal move. Does she put Willow on the stand against her better judgment? She tells Willow that she is her best shot of turning things around.

Kai and Trina's discovery

While Gio (Giovanni Mazza) tries to get Wiley (Viron Weaver) to call Michael (Rory Gibson) so he can report on his ringtone, Kai (Jens Austin Astrup) and Trina (Tabyana Ali) brace themselves. They are sure Michael was in the house that night and shot Drew, but they need proof.

Spoilers say that Kai and Trina make a huge realization about who shot Drew. Since they already suspect that it was Michael, why would the realization be so huge? Do they hear the ringtone come from someone else's phone while they are in court? Perhaps Wiley also wants to call his mommy. Maybe he even called his mommy the night that Drew was shot.

Dante's many dilemmas

Poor Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) is beside himself, knowing he might have blown the entire 'Who Shot Drew?' case to smithereens by neglecting some gut instincts about Michael. He feels like he is off his game, both professionally and with his kids.

When Dante makes an admission to Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) about how he has been acting with Gio and Rocco (Finn Carr), Brook Lynn advises him to fix it. Can Dante also fix his friendship with Chase (Josh Swickard) after suspending him?
