Sonny (Maurice Benard) is sure the same person who set the fire in his penthouse was the same one who set the fire at Charlie's, but it looks like Sidwell (Carlo Rota) never meant to hurt anyone. He was horrified to learn Kristina (Kate Mansi) could have been hurt, so did he not mean to hurt anyone back in January, if he did indeed set that fire?

Sonny doesn't care what the culprit meant to do. He just knows he almost lost two of his children due to arson in one year, and he is not going to let it happen again. Sonny and Jason (Steve Burton) are both suspicious of the fact that Marco (Adrian Anchondo) was conveniently on the scene and rescued Kristina, but it truly happened to be a coincidence.

Meanwhile, Marco is still reeling from news of his mother's death. He is sure there is more to the story than Natalia (Eva LaRue) taking a dangerous mix of booze and pills. Lucas also thinks something more is going on than meets the eye.

Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) braces herself when she's forced to tell Granny Tracy (Jane Elliot) that Deception is in trouble because Sonny's last cash infusion might not have been completely legit.

Tracy likes saying "I told you so" and being right all the time, but not this time. She never wanted Sonny's ill-gotten gains to be involved with her cosmetic company, and this is why. Tracy has some decisions to make now, as her ire towards Sonny is stronger than ever.

While Josslyn (Eden McCoy) loses her mind with Vaughn (Bryce Durfee), while going through her usual diatribe about how horrible Sonny is, Emma (Braedyn Bruner) and Gio (Giovanni Mazza) spend some quiet time together. Could Josslyn have a built-in distraction for Emma to keep her away from Professor Dalton (Daniel Goddard)?
