What to expect on General Hospital
Tracy (Jane Elliot) can barely believe her ears when Jason (Steve Burton) tells her that Monica (Leslie Charleson) is gone. She asks him if it could be some kind of mistake, but a tearful Jason insists that it is not. Dr. Monica Bard Quartermaine has indeed passed away peacefully in her room, in her house. The one Alan gave her.
Jason calls the first responders to report his mother's death as he and Tracy deal with their grief and share a few warm moments before telling the rest of the family what has happened. At least Monica was able to give her grandchildren hugs on their first day of school, a tradition Wiley (Viron Weaver) and Scout (Cosette Abinante) wanted to carry on.
Britt goes for broke
At General Hospital, the current chiefs of staff are unaware that their former chief of staff has passed away. Instead, they are dealing with a resurrection when Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) walks into Terry's (Cassandrea James) office and surprises Terry and Portia (Brook Kerr).
Britt needs money and a new place to live, which means that she also needs a job. She is a highly qualified obstetrician who was also once GH's chief of staff before Terry and Portia took over. Will they hire her back, since she was in such good standing at the hospital when she allegedly died?
The younger generation
At Bobbie's, Lulu (Alexa Havins) tells Charlotte (Bluesy Burke) that she is willing to let her see her dad in prison if Charlotte chooses to. Lulu promises that she will be by Charlotte's side the entire time. We can't imagine that Charlotte would say no, so it looks like it's almost Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) time again.
A desperate Gio (Giovanni Mazza) goes to Sonny (Maurice Benard) and tells him that he needs $10,000, which shocks Sonny. Is Gio really willing to offer that much as a reward for whoever finds Outback?

Little does he know that his dog is in the Q stables. Molly (Kristen Vaganos) finds Outback with Cody (Josh Kelly), but agrees to keep Cody's little secret and not tell anyone about the adorable dog.
