What to expect on General Hospital

It's an abbreviated Christmas week in Port Charles but that doesn't mean that Willow's trial doesn't continue. In fact, Portia (Brook Kerr) is the new star witness, surprising Curtis and Trina when she shows up in court. They both thought she was taking it easy on bedrest.

Portia ends up in near tears as she begs Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn), "Please don't do this to me." Does Alexis ask her where she was when Drew was shot because she knows that Portia was not on duty at the hospital as she has claimed? That means that Portia would have to say she was with Isaiah.

There is also always a chance that Alexis asks Portia why Drew (Cameron Mathison) was blackmailing her, which would mean that her Heather Webber (Ally Mills) test results secret could come out in court. Which way will things go for Portia, the one wild card most of Port Charles never thought of?

A Christmas celebration at Lulu's (Alexa Havins) place turns into a surprise celebration at Laura's (Genie Francis) when they decide to bring the party to the mayor. Sonny arrives bearing gifts in a Santa hat with Lulu, Dante (Dominic Zamprogna), Charlotte (Bluesy Burke), and Rocco (Finn Carr).

After all that Laura has been through the last few weeks with the Professor Dalton (Daniel Goddard) mess, Sonny thinks his pal needs some cheering up, and he is right, as Laura is thrilled to see them. It's a reprieve for Laura, as things will soon turn chaotic at Sidwell's (Carlo Rota) Wyndemere soiree.

More surprises in store

Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) certainly looks shocked about something. Does he learn where Anna (Finola Hughes) really is or does he just feign surprise at something that Carly (Laura Wright) says?

We also see two people clinking glasses in an elegant setting. Is Wyndemere all set up for that big post-Christmas party that we have a feeling will turn into quite a dramatic New Year's Eve event? Will someone be going over the parapet to start 2026? Time will tell...
