Michael (Rory Gibson) thinks he has it all under control and seems to always be one step ahead of Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) and Drew (Cameron Mathison). He has Jacinda (Paige Herschell) on his side, providing him with an alibi for a crime he swears he didn't commit.

When Michael sits down with Sonny (Maurice Benard) at the Metro Court, Sonny warns his son that he is playing with fire and that he is drawing the wrong attention to himself. Sonny is worried that Justine (Nazneen Contractor) might start going after Michael.

At another table, Nina (Cynthia Watros) also offers a warning when she tells Drew (Cameron Mathison) that a plan might backfire on him. Nina should know, as her plans always seem to backfire.

Drew is also set to experience a setback. Is this setback related to Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) or his plans to buy the Quartermaine house? He is not going to be able to own that house without a fight, and doesn't even know he is buying it from someone who is not actually the rightful owner.

Marty (Michael E. Knight) set this whole thing in motion as a way to get revenge on Tracy (Jane Elliot) for putting him behind bars earlier this year. When Laura (Genie Francis) takes her brother to task, does she learn what he did to the Quartermaine family and especially Tracy, who happens to be a good friend of Laura's? Marty might want to run and hide if Laura really knows his secret.

Dalton gets a new boss

Professor Henry Dalton (Daniel Goddard) is back on the scene when Sidwell (Carlo Rota) tells him that he will now be answering to Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud). What possesses Britt to work for Sidwell again when she seemed to be done with her lab research at the Five Poppies?

Elsewhere, Jack (Chris McKenna) still wants to get as much information as he can about Cesar Faison's (Anders Hove) last project, but he also needs Valentin's (James Patrick Stuart) cooperation. To that end, he asks Lulu (Alexa Havins) if she would be willing to take Charlotte (Bluesy Burke) to visit Valentin more often if he were in prison closer to home.
