The idea that Jason (Steve Burton) would come down the stairs to tell her Monica (the late Leslie Charleson) is gone is a foreign concept to Tracy (Jane Elliot). Monica has just always been there, in her house, the one that Alan (the late Stuart Damon) gave her. Even being sick the last few years, Monica has remained a constant within the family.

When Tracy sees the look on Jason's face, she fears that Monica took the news about Drew (Cameron Mathison) badly. After Jason tells her he never even had to say a word about Drew because Monica was already gone, Tracy is in denial. She insists to Jason that it has to be a mistake, but a teary-eyed Jason has to convince his aunt that his mother has passed on.

Britt swallows her pride

Portia (Brook Kerr) and Terry (Cassandra James) are stunned to hear that The Britch is back, especially because they have her job. If Britt (Kelly Thiebaud)hadn't allegedly died, she would still be chief of staff, so Britt decides to put her doctor skills to work.

She needs some cash on hand, as well as a place to stay, so Britt surprises Portia and Terry in Terry's office and asks to be put back on staff. She is her usual Britt self, but will Terry and Portia even remember that they actually liked Britt toward the end of her most recent life in Port Charles?

Lulu (Alexa Havins) finally bites the bullet and tells Charlotte (Bluesy Burke) that there is a way to see her dad, but it would be an international prison visit. Charlotte has to think about the idea and make a decision, but Lulu promises her that she will be there by her side if Charlotte decides she wants to see Valentin (James Patrick Stuart).

Out at the Q stables, word has not spread about Monica yet when Molly (Kristen Vaganos) pays a visit to Cody (Josh Kelly) and discovers Outback now lives there. Meanwhile, Gio (Giovanni Mazza) goes to Sonny (Maurice Benard) and asks for a lot of cash so that he and Emma (Braedyn Bruner) can offer a reward for their dog.
