General Hospital star Chris McKenna is coming up on a year of playing Jack Brennan, the bad guy turned WSB boss. Now, he's previewing some scenes in which he'll be working with someone whom he's already shared screentime with, and also, someone brand new to the canvas! Many people have made their first GH appearance since then, and, according to McKenna, someone new is coming onto the show in the near future. "Oh, hey guys," McKenna began a live Instagram session that has since been turned into a post on his account. "This is the first time I’ve gone live in I don't know how many years...decades?"The fan favorite filled his followers in on a health bout his family has been tackling since the holidays. "We all got sick over the holidays," he shared. "Everybody had a cold. [My son] Baby Spencer had a cold. Then, we all got better." Alas, winter colds and flus can repeat (just like storylines on soaps!). "A few days ago," he continues, "My wife said, 'I think I got another cold.' Here I am, I definitely have another cold, which kept me up half the night. I just coughed my way through the [taping of some] scenes today. I hope you won't be able to tell, but I'm pretty sure you will. 'C'est la vie.'" "Obviously, I can't tell you too much, though," he cautions. "I can tell you that they took place in Brennan's office. They were mostly with one legacy character -- not Carly -- with whom I've had scenes before, but not a lot." (Our guess would be Anna Devane, played by Finola Hughes, but we'll have to stay tuned to find out! McKenna revealed that he also had scenes with a new character "that you guys don't know yet, whom I believe you'll be introduced to soon. They were fun [scenes] except for all the hacking and coughing. Sorry about that!""It’s this freaking insane flu," responded @lovinglaynealways. "You think it’s gone, and bam, it’s back.
