On General Hospital, Kristina doesn't have much to celebrate as she helps keep Ric locked in her mother's basement while trying not to get caught, but off-screen, Kate Mansi has a lot to celebrate because it's her birthday.
Happy birthday, Kate Mansi

Kate Mansi was born on September 15, 1987, in Calabassas, CA, and attended Pepperdine University, where she earned a degree in film and public relations. Not long after college in 2011, Mansi landed the role of Abigail Deveraux on Days of Our Lives, a character she played on and off until 2020, earning a Daytime Emmy award for her efforts in 2017.
She also played Abigail in the DAYS app mini-series, Chad and Abby in Paris. For several years, she alternated the role with Marci Miller. In 2023, Mansi was cast as the new Kristina Corinthos-Davis on General Hospital, taking over for Lexie Ainsworth. Since then, she has put a whole new spin on the character and made it her own.
In 2020, Mansi got married during the COVID lockdown, after having to postpone her wedding. However, the next year, she and Blake Levin split, which left Mansi in shock. This year, Mansi finally had her dream wedding, but it was a surprise for her guests.
On May 31, Mansi invited her family and friends to what they thought was an engagement party, but it turned out to be a wedding. Mansi married Matt McInnes in a romantic ceremony, with co-star Giovanni Mazza (Gio Palmieri) playing violin.
Mansi's drama as General Hospital's Kristina

While finding her real-life happiness, Mansi has also been playing out Kristina's mess of a life. This year, her character spun out of control when she cut the brakes on what she thought was Ava Jerome's (Maura West) car, but turned out to be Ric Lansing's (Rick Hearst) vehicle. She nearly got Ric and Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) killed, but months later, authorities still don't know.
That's because Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) has gone to great lengths to cover for Kristina, including chaining Ric to a gurney in her basement with a ball gag in his mouth. Alexis isn't about to let her daughter go down for a crime she actually did commit. Mansi appears to be having fun through it all, as Kristina is a far cry from Abigail Deveraux DiMera.
Soap Central wishes Kate Mansi a very happy birthday and many more.
