General Hospital star Kate Mansi (Kristina Corinthos-Davis) has tied the knot with Matt McInnes in a surprise weekend wedding.
A General Hospital real-life wedding
Mansi first announced her engagement to McInnes last July by posting a photo flashing her new engagement ring while eating a wrap. She also shared other photos of the ring to demonstrate her excitement. Only a few short weeks ago, the actress posted snaps of herself and McInnes, writing, "Is it July yet? Can't wait to marry you!"
Well, apparently, Mansi and McInnes moved up the date as her co-stars shared photos in their Instagram stories. Giovanni Mazza (Gio Palmieri) posted a pic of Mansi and McInnes dancing that said, "Happy Surprise Wedding! The Dynamic Duo! So much joy and love."
According to Soap Opera Digest, Mansi's on-screen sister, Kristen Vaganos (Molly Lansing-Davis), also posted some photos to her Instagram stories, including a pic of herself and Mansi with the bride in her wedding gown. "For the record, I knew," Vaganos wrote.
A second chance at love for Kate Mansi

This is Mansi's second marriage after the actress wed in a small, private ceremony in 2020. The couple had planned a much bigger affair, but COVID lockdown put the kibosh on their plans. Mansi explained how blindsided she was when the marriage ended the next year.
The actress had met her former husband in the commissary while working on Days of our Lives as Abigail Deveraux and never imagined things would go as they did. After lockdown, Mansi planned to have the wedding of her dreams despite already being married, but it wasn't meant to be.
"About six weeks before the planned wedding, my husband had a crisis of conscience and didn’t want to go through with it," Mansi told ——— on-screen dad Maurice Benard on an episode of State of Mind in 2023. She admitted she was hurt and heartbroken, but remained pragmatic.
"It is hard to say why," Mansi admitted. "I am not going to speak for him, but I have gone through the gamut of emotions, anger, etc...I think at the time, he was just so lost. Now that I look back on it, I think maybe he was just finding himself. He was going through a journey, and something didn’t feel authentic for him. He needed to work through whatever he needed to work through."
It looks like Mansi has found happiness again, and Soap Central wishes the couple all the luck in the world.
