Watch Cody and James set General Hospital to music

The special relationship between General Hospital's Cody and his step-nephew James has been a delight to watch ever since James decided that Cody was his very best friend. Behind the scenes, Gary James Fuller and Josh Kelly also seem to get along famously and recorded a little music video illustrating just that.

In the video Fuller posted on Instagram, Josh Kelly is just lounging around in a break room singing about GH while Fuller breaks in with short guitar interludes.

"Moving around from set to set, doin' scenes with Ava, who's played by Maura. Thinkin' bout how popular was Luke and Laura," Kelly sang.

"Ridin' on the horses isn't always the same; scenes are always fun with Cody and James. Doin' our work at the General Hospital," the actor concluded, while giving Fuller a smile and a nod.

James' big General Hospital story

Fuller has been tugging at our heartstrings recently as a little boy whose mother is in a coma and who just learned that the father he'd never met is alive (maybe). Just prior to learning about Nathan's (Ryan Paevey) apparent resurrection, James had just been telling Cody that he wished he were his dad.

A few days later, Felicia (Kristina Wagner) and Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) brought James to GH to meet his dad, but Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) tried to put a stop to things quickly. Those scenes were airing on a big screen TV when Fuller and his mom stopped in for a meal at Buffalo Wild Wings.

"When you stop for lunch @bwwings and your latest episode of @generalhospitalabc is on!" read a caption, accompanied by photos of Fuller watching himself on television and posing with a member of the staff.

Britt didn't succeed in her efforts to delay a meeting between James and his supposed dad. James snuck away after a trip to the vending machine and visited Nathan without the adults in his life. The alleged father and son duo shared some soda and discussed their likes and dislikes as they to know one another for the very first time.

The question is — will this man turn out to not be Nathan at all, but instead an imposter who will eventually break poor James' little heart? At least he will still have Cody to cheer him up.
