She's Come Undone — The Unraveling of Willow Tait: General Hospital Two Scoops for the week of June 9

Welp, it finally happened. General Hospital's Little Miss Priss finally got her comeuppance after wondering for months why nobody seemed to like her anymore. Then, she fell apart in one of the most shocking and spectacular meltdowns we have seen on soaps in years.

That means that GH kept on soaping for the 4th week in a row, and we couldn't be happier. There's a lot to unpack this week, and most of the luggage comes from Weeping Willow, cult member extraordinaire, whose stint at Shadybook looks like it's finally on the way.

Willow Tait finally found out

What the heck happened to Willow Tait, aka Callie Miller? We have been asking ourselves that for a few years now, but not as much as we've asked ourselves this week. How did the cute third-grade teacher who had a sweet and sexy romance with the handsome Harrison Chase turn into this little lunatic?

The first day we realized Willow might be as screwed up as he twin sister Nelle (we always knew Nina had to have had twins) was when she married Chase on his deathbed, but then learned he would live. The look on her face was pure horror. She was now stuck with Chase while lusting after Michael, but never fear. All Willow had to do was have sex with Michael during Wiley's birthday party while she cried over the birth and death of her own son on the same day.

Willow's cancer was a whole other issue. She didn't even bother mentioning to Michael that she had cancer until it had reached stage 4. That's our Willow. And why didn't she die? Well, Liesl Obrecht gave the ungrateful girl bone marrow after Holly — yes, HOLLY, NOT DREW — rescued Liesl from Victor's clutches in Greenland. So, Willow can thank Sasha's mother for the fact that she is still breathing.

Sadly, she thanked Drew instead, so here we are. It was bad enough watching their putrid slow-burn "romance" where Willow looked a little perplexed and Drew came off as a stalker. However, since Tracy revealed their affair in brilliant technicolor on the big screen TV at the Q Christmas party, Drillow, aka The Gruesome Twosome, have done nothing but make everyone in Port Charles and the viewing audience hate them. When the GH fandom unites behind one common cause, you know there's a problem with what the show may have originally conceived as a love story.

For months, we have watched this imbecilic character wonder why nobody likes her. But when she got on the stand and asked why she had to choose between her kids and Drew, that was it. She couldn't make a choice between her own children and her cult leader.

After the judge read her verdict, we learned just how otherworldly Willow really was. She didn't even understand what the judge was saying, and the meltdown that followed? Woo-boy, is this girl (un)DONE! Reserve that room at Shadybrook now — or better yet, give her a little case of DID and call her other personality Nelle. That would be the soapiest next chapter we can get. GH went all-out and made Drew Cain a villain, so why not totally unravel Willow Tait?

Drew might be confused, but...

Nina knows. She knows exactly who and what Drew Cain is, and it's not pretty. The judge wasn't even informed that this man had emotionally abused Wiley earlier in the day, and still knew that letting those children shouldn't be anywhere near him and their dummy of a mother.

Nina lashed out at Drew in a quick and epic way, while even Ric was horrified by his actions. If Ric thinks something is too low, then yeah, it's really, really low. While we were truly hoping the twist in the custody case would have been Nina and/or Ric throwing the case Michael's way, we're pretty darn satisfied with Willow's epic meltdown. It was everything we've been waiting for and more, but let Nina do something — anything — to expose this smarmy teflon politician. Or just finally send the convicted felon to DC, where he'll fit right in.

Well, that was fast: So long, Lucky

Blink and you'll miss him, but why did we ever have him back to begin with? He didn't save Lulu with his liver, he trashed Kelly's, and he covered for a would-be murderess because...yeah, we still haven't figured that one out.

Oh right, he tepidly romanced Elizabeth, who GH freed from Finn just so they could re-pair her with Lucky. Meanwhile, Jason is the one who rescued her from Finn, Jason is the one she shared perfect pool scenes with right after, and Jason is still around. And single. So, we say, Lucky who?

Maxie tried (and Anna, too)...

We really thought that when Maxie set up an intervention of sorts to force her two besties to get along that it would work. And it almost did. The problem? Lulu is a piece of work. She somehow doesn't think invading Brook Lynn's privacy and digging where she didn't belong was at all wrong. Everyone else thinks she was wrong, which should be a clue to Lulu that she might want to engage in a little self-reflection. But nope. Not Lulu. She can do no wrong, and she will not apologize. What a nice bunch of kids you got there, Laura. One is a deadbeat dad. One is a nosy shrew. And the other one is in jail for locking a pregnant teenager in a tower. Did we mention he was the one who got the teenager pregnant? That's where Alexis is getting her embezzlement money from.

Really, Kristina?

Laura may have no worthy children, but at least Alexis has one left. And her name is not Molly, that's for sure. It's Kristina, the one she named for her beloved sister. Maybe she should have saved the name for her younger daughter because she is much more worthy of it.

As Alexis said, Kristina has learned nothing. She still walks around with a smile on her face, flitting about life despite nearly killing two people not long ago. Yet, she thinks all her problems can be solved by Cody seducing Ava. CODY?!?!? CODY!?!?! The dude your sister is now pretty friendly with, who has had one interaction with Ava over the last three years. And she wants to push Ric toward Elizabeth?!??! No, that's why Jason is around. See above.

The one thing Nina and Alexis have in common is that they both have nutjob daughters whom they keep enabling. STOP!

Odds and ends

Did we mention how much we love Ava's hat? We don't quite understand it, but we love it. Was GH trying to show us that Ava likes cowboy attire cause a cowboy is going to seduce her? We are not sure. We are also not sure why Ava showed up at the pool for all of five minutes and then left.

While we are glad that Gio decided to give poor Rocco the time of day, we really want to know where Gio is living. We know he refused to impose on Anna, but where has this boy been sleeping? These are the things we must know.

Kai and Trina are still boring. Nothing has changed since last week. Or the week before. Or the week before that. Maybe it's time for GH to cut its losses with this forced pairing. Or at least tell us a little more about Kai. We know he likes to play football, and that's about it.

We're glad the show remembered that Felicia is only a patient advocate by day, but by night, she can spy with the best of them. Now, maybe she will really find Jacinda so that both members of The Gruesome Twosome can really come undone. Drew's next, Scoopers, and it is sure to be fun.
