The one General Hospital character who deserves the best Christmas EVER

It's been quite a year on General Hospital, with characters going through numerous changes brought on by a multitude of surprises. However, there is one young man who has been put through the wringer more than most this past year, and we just want him to get everything his heart desires for Christmas. So, let's hear it for poor Rocco Falconeri.

Rocco's no-good, terrible, bad, good, stunning year

Rocco (Finn Carr) started the year happy enough. His mom was no longer in a coma, and he even got to live with her part-time again. What could be better? Well, maybe having his sister home. And that's just what Rocco got by March, when Charlotte (Bluesy Burke) finally returned from life on the run with her dad.

Then, it all went downhill. Thanks to Danny (Asher Antonyzyn), they ended up at a college party on the lake. When Danny wandered off, Rocco got involved with a drinking game in an effort to act cool. Sadly, Rocco also ended up with alcohol poisoning and nearly died. When he was released from the hospital, Rocco and Danny were forced to clean Lulu's (Alexa Havins) house from top to bottom as punishment for their errant teenage ways.

In May, Rocco learned that he had a brother when Gio (Giovanni Mazza) was revealed to be Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and Brook Lynn's (Amanda Setton) son. That was a highlight of Rocco's year, but a low moment came when he learned that his mother never actually gave birth to him. Instead, his entire life was the result of being a stolen embryo whom the allegedly-dead Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) birthed.

After Rocco forgave his parents for withholding the truth, he contacted Britt's mom and decided to adopt her as his surrogate Grandma. Rocco and Liesl's (Kathleen Gati) sweet relationship was a high point for Rocco and lovely to watch for us, but then things got bad again.

Rocco thought his year was finally calming down until he agreed to help Emma (Braedyn Bruner) and Gio break into Henry Dalton's lab to rescue animals they believed he was testing. After a mix-up, Rocco, Danny, and Charlotte broke in on their own, leading to Rocco's arrest and time in juvenile detention.

Thankfully, Rocco is free now and only has to perform community service. He is even starting to make up with Dante and form a relationship with Gio. It's what Rocco deserves more than any other kid on soaps, and maybe anyone else in Port Charles. What a year for one 15-year-old young man.
