Dr. Ian Devlin joined the General Hospital staff as an oncologist. He attended school with Patrick Drake and the two were good friends. Initially, Ian had started out as a plastic surgeon but, after doing numerous reconstructive surgery on women who had battled breast cancer, he decided to switch specialties.
