Imagine you're an African-American man who just got employed as an intern to be a slave re-enactor at a living history museum. During your time there, you discover that your white girlfriend's ancestors enslaved yours. What do you do next?

If you don't know, wait till July 11; Kendrick Lamar will answer this question. The above-mentioned situation wasn't an Ask Reddit kind of question. It is the alleged plot of Lamar's new comedy film, Whitney Springs, directed by Trey Parker, the co-creator of South Park.

The movie stars Kendrick Lamar, Chloe East, and Celeste Octavia. The name of the movie is still a work in progress, and the cast is also not final; the only detail we have is that Lamar will be a part of the film.

With five Grammys, a successful Halftime Show, No. 1 spot on the Spotify Top Artist list, and now an upcoming movie, Kendrick is having a busy year. Till now, his streak is going strong, and he seems to be winning, so let's hope the new movie keeps the streak going.

Fan reaction to Kendrick Lamar's film 'Whitney Springs' alleged plot

As soon as the news about the plot came out, everyone had the same question: What's Kendrick and his obsession with slavery? Another question that people wondered about was, is this a real plot of a real movie? But then they read that Trey Parker was directing, so they were satisfied.

Here are some sarcastically funny comments by annoyed fans who are questioning everything about the movie and Kendrick Lamar.

One user @TweezySol commented:

"The hypocrisy in this movie is hilarious."

Another user, @ariellebc90, asked an important question:

"Why does every black film have to be slavery related?"

User @Credo_II made an interesting comment about Kendrick Lamar:

"ALWAYS rapping like you bout to get the slaves freed."

One more user, @drizzyvalentino, made a similar comment:

"N**** got a slave fetish at this point"

Here is a comment by @HappyYoungGuy, who detected plagiarism, apparently:

"They ripped off a family guy episode."

One more user, @xotarzan, asked an important question:

"How does one INTERN as a Slave Re-Enactor at a museum?"

Another fan mentioned about the possibility of the film having an interlude song:

"Hope there's no interlude midway where Kendrick Lamar raps Not Like Us."

Kendrick Lamar is a decorated musician with numerous accolades under his belt. So when an artist of such caliber decides to change his trajectory and start acting, fans expect the same level of storylines they see in his lyrics. The one that he has chosen still seems a little dicey. Let's hope the movie doesn't give Drake a chance to start the beef again.
