Fans of Jungkook are eagerly anticipating his birthday, which falls on September 1. The “Seven” crooner is the youngest member of the globally recognized K-pop group BTS and is popularly called the “Golden Maknae.” JK debuted with BTS in 2013 as a vocalist.

In addition to his successful career as a member of the popular boy group, Jungkook has also had an impressive solo career. He officially debuted as a solo artist in 2023 with the release of the single, “Seven.”

As a solo singer, JK is ranked among the top K-pop idols and celebrated globally.

1) Seven

Seven was Jeon Jungkook’s first official single. It was released on July 14, 2023, and features American rapper Latto. Seven won Jungkook two Guinness World Records, including the Most-streamed track on Spotify in one week (male) and the Fastest time for a track to reach 100 million streams on Spotify (male).

Seven topped Complex's list of The 15 Best K-Pop and Rap Collaborations of All Time and made it to Billboard, Consequence, Rolling Stone, and Uproxx’s best songs of 2023. The pre-chorus reads:

“It's the way that you can ride/ It's the way that you can ride (Oh-oh-oh-oh)/ Think I met you in another life/ So break me off another time (Oh-oh-oh-oh)/ You wrap around me and you give me life/ And that's why night after night/ I'll be fuckin' you right.”

2) 3D

3D was released on September 29, 2023, featuring American rapper Jack Harlow. In November of the same year, JK re-released the song, this time featuring Justin Timberlake. 3D entered the top five of Billboard Hot 100 and topped Billboard Global 200. The chorus reads:

“So if you're ready/ And if you'll let me/ I wanna see it in motion/ In 3D (Ooh)/ You won't regret me (Won't regret me)/ Champagne confetti (Champagne confetti)/ I wanna see it in motion/ In 3D (Show it to me, girl, now; why?)”

3) Standing Next To You Remix

Standing Next To You was originally released on November 3, 2023, as the third single of JK’s first studio album, Golden. American singer Usher was featured in the remix released on December 1, 2023. The chorus reads:

“Standing next to you (Next to you)/ Standin' in the fire next to you (Oh, next to you, oh)/ You know it's deeper than the rain/ It's deeper than the pain/ Deep like DNA/ Somethin' they can't take away, ayy/ Take-take-take-take-take-take off.”

4) Too Much

Too Much is a collaborative song by The Kid Laroi, Central Ceee, and JK. It was released on October 20, 2023. The song debuted at number 10 on Billboard's Global Excl. US chart, earning the South Korean singer his seventh entry. The chorus reads:

“Uh, if we had the chance and the time to spend/ Would you do it again? Would you do it again?/ Was it too much? Uh, yeah (Too much)/ Was it too much? Ayy, uh (Too much)/ Now you're callin' your friends 'cause I'm gone again/ When I'm back around, would you do it again?/ Was it too much? Uh, ayy (Too much)/ Was it too much? Uh, ayy (Too much).”

5) Left And Right

Left and Right is a song by Charlie Puth featuring JK. It was released on June 24, 2022, and was JK’s first feature as a soloist. The song made Esquire’s 2022 song of the summer list and was in the top ten of Billboard’s US Adult Pop Airplay chart. The chorus reads:

“Memories follow me left and right/ I can feel you over here, I can feel you over here/ You take up every corner of my mind (Of my mind)/ Your love stays with me day and night/ I can feel you over here, I can feel you over here/ You take up every corner of my mind (Whatcha gon' do now?)”

6) Dreamers

Dreamers is arguably one of Junkool’s most celebrated songs. It was the first song by a South Korean artist in honor of the 2022 World Cup. Dreamers feature Qatari singer Fahad Al Kubaisi. The chorus reads:

“Look who we are, we are the dreamers/ We make it happen, 'cause we believe it/ Look who we are, we are the dreamers/ We make it happen, 'cause we can see it.”
