Diddy has been on trial since May 5, 2025. The court has been hearing testimonies, witness accounts, and other evidence brought forward. These will determine whether or not the rapper is indicted on all counts of his federal sex trafficking and racketeering charges.

Now, a new alleged court audio has surfaced, which evidently shows the rapper calling an anonymous witness, referred to as ‘Jane’, his ‘crackpipe’, as per reports by publications like XXL Magazine and No Jumper. The audio has since then been made available on social media and gone viral. The audio is quoted below from an X post made by an account called Dot (.)/stillsmalz.3 on June 12, 2025:

Hey baby, we had a great time..stay in the light. Its all good, get your rest, you are the crackpipe. That's my new name for you, crackpipe or should I call you CP but um, yeah, I don't know, I want you to stay in the light, you know I'm saying. We had a very very good time together, like so much, so much, so much fun

The audio continues:

now go rest up get in your bag.. gotcha contract, find a nice little spot put your mind at ease and um yeah I had a great time and I really really want you to get some rest... that's when I was like hold up a second, i get some rest baby...

In the audio, Diddy continues asking the witness to 'set up' some kind of event:

"so you come in for 24 hours, yeah, you always wanted to set it up, so now you got the opportunity, so set something up for tomorrow night. That last vision we had Dawn and ATL. See you put it together baby"

Diddy is facing trial for five counts of charges

Diddy is facing trial for five counts of charges: two counts of sex trafficking, one of racketeering, and two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. The charges together could amount to more than two decades of prison time if the rapper is convicted.

The indictment of Diddy was preceded by a lawsuit by Cassie Ventura in 2023—his ex—which was settled for an undisclosed amount out of court. In addition, more than 120 lawsuits filed by a number of plaintiffs against his "freak offs".

The lawsuits were filed on behalf of the plaintiffs by a team of lawyers led by attorney Tony Buzbee. He made a statement at a Houston news conference, quoted here from The Washington Post’s article on the matter released on October 1, 2024:

"The biggest secret in the entertainment industry, that really wasn’t a secret at all, has finally been revealed to the world. The wall of silence has now been broken."

Tony Buzbee later stated:

"The day will come when we will name names other than Sean Combs. And there’s a lot of names. The names that we’re going to name, assuming our investigators confirm and corroborate what we’ve been told, are names that will shock you."

The attorney continued:

"I’m talking here about not just the cowardly but complicit bystanders, that is those people that we know watched this behavior occur and did nothing. And I’m talking about the people that participated, encouraged it, egged it on. They know who they are."

Sean “Diddy” Combs has previously also faced lawsuits from Cindy Rueda, as well as Derrick Lee Cardello-Smith, April Lampros, Liza Gardner, Rodney Jones, Thalia Graves, and Dawn Richards, among others.
