Unidentified "top" rapper cited in explosive Diddy trial testimony

Diddy's ongoing trial has a new shocking twist with the mention of an unnamed famous rapper. The name came up as Sean Combs's ex-girlfriend, testifying as “Jane Doe,” recalled flying to Las Vegas on this mysterious famous rapper’s private jet.

The event took place in January 2024, when she and her friend reportedly joined the mysterious rapper and his girlfriend in Las Vegas for his girlfriend's birthday trip.

As per USA Today, Jane Doe claimed that eight or nine people, including her, watched Anton, a male escort, and a woman engaging in an intimate act during the trip. The birthday night also reportedly included dinner, a play, and a strip club visit.

As of now, the identity of the famous rapper has not been revealed, neither by Sean Combs’s ex-girlfriend, who goes by Jane Doe, nor by the lawyers involved in the case.

As per her statement, Jane Doe and Sean Combs had been together for around three years, starting in 2021. The trip happened in 2024, during a pause in Jane Doe’s relationship with Diddy.

While the name of the rapper hasn't been revealed yet, it is now building curiosity among the people who are following the case. For now, the judge has decided to keep certain names private and said the mystery rapper’s incident isn’t directly linked to the sex trafficking charges.

Diddy's lawyer reportedly wanted to use the real names of the people involved in the case, as said during the Thursday hearing. This includes the Las Vegas hotel room event as well, involving the mystery rapper, which could help in supporting Sean Combs's case.

However, as per prosecutor Maurene Comey's statement, this was just an excuse to harass the witness. According to the prosecutor, anyone who knew something about the incident could still come forward, as the needed details had already been shared, even without using their names. As reported by the Washington Post, she stated,

“Anyone who witnessed these events would be able to tell the defense if they wanted to. The suggestion that they need to say these names … is a pretense to harass and intimidate this witness.”

Sean Combs’s trial is currently taking place in federal court in Manhattan, New York. He is facing serious charges, including sex trafficking and racketeering.

Amidst all this, rapper Kanye West is also trying to show support for the music mogul by visiting him in the courtroom along with Sean Combs's family.

A Twitter user, @Sekhmet_Pwrful1, also uploaded a tweet on June 12 featuring 50 Cent's Instagram post where he claimed that the rapper named in Sean Combs's case is Kanye West, who went with his girlfriend, Bianca Censori, to Las Vegas.
