The stage was set for the 2025 Americana Awards that celebrated the talent bringing forth roots music. Rolling Stone reported that the 24th instalment of the Awards show was hosted on September 10 at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium. The news outlet reported that the Awards function was hosted by actor and singer John C. Reilly.

The Americana Awards are a part of the annual Americana Fest, which celebrates "American Roots" music. This year, the festival is scheduled from September 9 to 13, giving fans the opportunity to witness roots music in action. Sierra Ferrel has reportedly emerged as the Artist Of The Year for the second consecutive year. The four-time Grammy winner is also on her Shoot For The Moon Tour and will make her next stop at St. Augustine on September 12. Nathaniel and The Night Sweats won big and took away the Album Of The Year Award for South Of Here, featuring 11 songs.
Additionally, the association revealed that it had awarded the Lifetime Achievement Awards to: McCrary Sisters, Old 97's, Darrell Scott, Joe Henry, and Jesse Welles, per Music Crow.
