On May 1, 2025, Nick Cannon appeared on Tea Time with Raven & Miranda podcast and stated that he had taken out a $10 million insurance policy on his testicles as something of a joke that turned serious under the care of Dr. Squatch. He further added that in case of any occurrence, the money would go to his children.

Soon after, Alyssa Scott reposted a clip of the same podcast episode on her Instagram Story and claimed that Cannon hadn’t seen their daughter Halo in over a month, calling out his priorities.

Halo is two years old, born on December 14, 2022, and is one of Cannon’s twelve children. As of May 2, 2025, Cannon has not publicly replied to Scott’s message nor commented on the claim.

On the May 1 episode of Tea Time with Raven & Miranda, Nick Cannon revealed that he had insured his testicles for $10 million, at $5 million each. He explained that although it started as a joke, after a discussion about how celebrities insure body parts, it became a real policy through Dr. Squatch’s men’s care brand. Nick added that if anything went wrong, the payout would be for his children’s benefit.

In past interviews, Nick Cannon has expressed that it has been hard to split his time among all his children while managing his career projects. In March 2025, he told PEOPLE he was “pressing pause” on having more children for financial reasons, though he emphasized his love for each child he already has. His busy schedule and travel for work can make planning regular visits challenging.

Current status of the situation

As of May 2, 2025, Nick Cannon has not responded publicly to Scott’s call-out about not seeing Halo for over a month. His representatives have not issued a comment on the matters either. Alyssa Scott’s Instagram Story remains visible, and fans are watching to see if Cannon will address the concern soon. Ultimately, this highlights how social media can bring private family matters into the public eye, demonstrating the challenges of co-parenting in a large blended family.
