BLK ODYSSY 2025 debut Australian tour: Presale details, dates, venues, and more explored

Austin-based artist BLK ODYSSY is officially set to make his Australian live debut in November 2025. This leg has been announced as part of his MOOD CONTROL tour. It will bring him to four cities: Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney, and Perth.

For Australian fans, this will be their first chance to see BLK ODYSSY perform live. The tour announcement follows his collaborations with artists such as Timbaland, Wiz Khalifa, and Joey Bada$$. This relatively short tour will only have four Australian dates. It is expected to be an intimate debut for the Australian leg of his upcoming tour.

BLK ODYSSY announced the AU tour via an official Instagram post, which read:

"AUSTRALIA 🇦🇺|| You will be the first the feel the frequency in the flesh. It's our first time down under. Get them fast."

Liva Nation also issued an official press release to announce the tour. It read:

"Genre-bending artist BLK ODYSSY has today announced his debut tour of Australia, bringing the MOOD CONTROL tour to the country in November 2025. The unique artist and producer will kick off his tour in Melbourne on Wednesday 5 November at Max Watt's in Melbourne, before heading up to Brisbane on Friday 7 November at The Triffid, Sydney on Saturday 8 November at Factory Theatre, and concluding the tour in Perth on Tuesday 11 November at Jack Rabbit Slim's."

BLK ODYSSY is the stage project of Juwan Elcock. The musician is originally from Plainfield, New Jersey, and is now based in Austin, Texas. At 12, Elcock lost his older brother to police violence, which reportedly pushed him toward music as a form of healing.

He initially worked in Americana under his own name. After a while, Elcock reintroduced himself as BLK ODYSSY. His debut album, "BLK VINTAGE" (2021), was written and produced with some collaborators. The record featured influences of neo-soul, funk, and hip hop. It received notable acclaim from fans and enthusiasts.

His follow-up was Diamonds & Freaks (2023), which featured appearances from Bootsy Collins, Rapsody, and production from The Alchemist. His latest, 1-800 Fantasy, was officially released in 2024. This record included "XXX" with Wiz Khalifa and "Stank Rose" with Joey Bada$$.

BLK ODYSSY has previously performed across the U.S. and appeared at multiple showcases, including NPR's Tiny Desk Concert in 2024. However, this upcoming November 2025 run will be the first time audiences in Australia will have the opportunity to see him live. The four-stop schedule is as follows:

Presale and ticket information

Tickets will go on sale starting Friday, September 5, 2025, at 11 am local time through Live Nation. A presale for My Live Nation members begins a day earlier on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at 11 am and ends at 10 am on Friday, September 5, 2025. Fans can register for the presale at livenation.com.au.
