Bullet For My Valentine "The Poison" 20th anniversary Australian tour: Presale, dates, venues, and more explored

Bullet For My Valentine are officially bringing The Poison 20th anniversary celebration to Australia. The newly announced trek has been set for October 2025.

The UK outfit will perform their biggest Australian headline shows to date. They will be hitting multiple East Coast arenas with support from While She Sleeps and The Devil Wears Prada. This tour comes after some months of controversy and near-collapse of a co-headlining plan with Trivium.

Now confirmed and fully led by BFMV, the Australian leg of The Poison tour includes three stops in Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane. These shows are expected to offer a nostalgic experience of the beloved 2005 record that redefined metalcore for a new generation. The show setlist is also expected to feature other tracks from Bullet For My Valentine's complete catalogue, from Scream Aim Fire to their self-titled 2021 release.

Bullet For My Valentine took to their official Instagram handle to announce the 2025 Australian tour, captioning:

"Australia! We are super excited to announce we're coming back this October with support from @whileshesleeps & @tdwpband celebrating 20 years of The Poison. Get access to presale via the link in bio. Pre-sale begins Wednesday 30th July with general on sale Friday 1st August. 🇦🇺"

Bullet For My Valentine was formed in Bridgend, Wales, in the late 1990s. They became a beloved act of the mid-2000s metalcore wave. Their debut album, The Poison (2005), delivered hits like "4 Words (To Choke Upon)" and "Tears Don't Fall."

They followed it with a string of albums: Scream Aim Fire (2008), Fever (2010), Temper Temper (2013), and more. Bullet For My Valentine reportedly amassed over 3.5 million records sold worldwide.

Originally, Bullet For My Valentine and Trivium were set to co-headline a global tour celebrating The Poison and Trivium's Ascendancy. The idea was to tour together worldwide. However, by May 2025, Trivium bassist Paolo Gregoletto publicly accused Bullet's frontman Matt Tuck of backing out, saying:

"Matt Tuck didn't want to do it, after we had planned it, after stuff was already in the works — don't know why. I think it would have been amazing. I think The Poison is a great album. I think the two records pair very well together."

He also added:

"And I think it would have been nice to give everyone around the world a chance to see the two together. But we are going to do North America on our own with other bands. And we will have a lot of special surprises, just because we will [now] have more time to do stuff, so, that's what it is."
