Chris Young Christmas 2025 tour: Presale, dates, venues, and more explored

Country artist Chris Young is getting into the holiday spirit a little early this year. The singer has officially announced his first-ever Christmas tour. It has been titled It Must Be Christmas – An Acoustic Evening with Chris Young.

The trek will launch this fall across 15 cities in the U.S. This newly scheduled run is timed around Thanksgiving and leads up to Christmas. The acoustic tour is expected to feature music from Chris Young’s 2016 holiday album, along with other fan favorites.

This tour announcement comes as Chris Young prepares to release his tenth studio album, I Didn’t Come Here To Leave, on October 17, 2025. The record will be his first with Black River Entertainment. The new record will include 14 songs, 11 of which Young co-wrote. The album’s arrival also lines up with the eighth anniversary of his 2017 induction into the Grand Ole Opry.

Chris Young took to his official Instagram profile to announce the 2025 tour. The post read:

"I'm so excited to share that I will be heading out on an acoustic Christmas tour this year! I will be playing songs from my holiday album It Must Be Christmas and all your other faves. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, August 8th but you can access pre-sale tickets beginning tomorrow, August 5th at 10 am local. Sign-up to get a pre-sale code on my website - link in bio."

Chris Young first gained attention after winning Nashville Star in 2006. Since then, he has scored 14 No. 1 singles. He has toured regularly throughout his career. However, this will be his first holiday-themed tour. His It Must Be Christmas album was released in 2016. It featured holiday tracks like “Holly Jolly Christmas” and “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas,” along with collaborations with Brad Paisley, Alan Jackson, and Boyz II Men.
